The Squad XL is mostly taller in size than it's smaller counterpart, and while we haven't personally tested the compatibility of the mips helmet with the XL model, there may be an issue where the helmet presses down on the top of the goggle chassis and applying more pressure to the top of one's nose. Hello! Technically speaking, it is possible, although not recommended. The Squad Mag is not a true OTG (over the glasses) goggle type. And the cylindrical lens shape has the potential to come in contact with the frame when worn over. It's also uncomfortable. Arms (temples) of the frames can cause unwanted pressure points when situated beneath the straps of the goggle. You may also lose considerable peripheral viewing range, which is especially troublesome if you snowboard because of the sideways stance. The far better option is a SportRx prescription snow goggle insert that sits just behind the main shield lens of the goggle.
