    I ordered the CNC Q2 and my lines are so much better. It’s so light. Lol. I did order a battery but ordered the wrong one so I have to return the battery and get the right one. Got the wrong type of plug on it. But it’s so cute and light. It’s crazy. There’s like no crazy vibration like the coil machine I have. It’s awesome. Thanks for doing a review and keep up the awesome work. Thanks again.

    I started last year. Unfortunately bought a $70 wish kit with bad fake ink, (tried to use 1x ) never tattooed with it.I bought the Dragonhawk Mast Tour kit on amazon. $130.00. I've done 1 really good tattoo and the rest not so much. I'm hoping the CNC Q2 will give me the stability and quality for me to start producing great quality tattoos even though having quality tattoo equipment is just one element to giving a good quality tatt.Time will tell. I can second the cartridges not fitting 100% sometimes, I thought it was my cartridges but hearing it from you too I think it may be the machine. Needed this positivity today. Im in the Midwest and we have had -20 to -30 Temps. I had a pipe burst in my shop last night and all my supplies were unsalvageable. Its been a hard day. Thinking about getting a CNC-Q2 to replace my cheyenne that was lost in the water ♡

      OH WOW sooo Sorry to hear about that.... 🤔. I'm from the midwest as well and I know how bad those cold temps can get and its just really sad to hear everything is unsalvageable. With that said the CNC-Q2 is a great option at a decent price. It runs differently then the Cheyenne as its more punchy due to it being a direct drive, but I think you should really enjoy it. Again really sorry to hear about your day Mandii, I sure hope things start to look up.

    Watching you over the last months working with the CNC Q2 made me think quite a bit about picking up a pen aswell man.
    I usally use Coil Machines as my go to but got myself a semi direct drive one last year. From what you said about the machine and what you like, that could maybe suit you too, if you are interested I use the Stigma-Rotary® Hyper V3 as my go to Rotary. (They also got the V4 now but that one sucks). Can only recommand it.
    Great video as always and already congrats in advance to the 100k man, you deserve it for sure !

  • @graffics7665

    *Quick edit: they will ask for a video or picture of any broken part so don't try to fix it without taking pictures first. I was able to fix mine with a dab of JB Weld*
    With customer service, I wrote Solongtattoo.com & they sent me the part I needed. I also wrote CNCtattoo.com & as soon as I mentioned "broken" they didn't reply back, so I suggest writing their mother company, Solong. With being a Chinese company, 99% of every machine you buy will have SOMETHING to do with China! same with tattoo ink.. the bottles are made in China. There's very little you can get nowadays that doesn't have anything to do with a country in Asia. That being said, I have every Hawink Q-series machine EXCEPT for the Q2. I think the Q1 is pretty close. The Q3 (pill) is similar & also has the Faulhaber & the Q5 (grenade) is a little bulkier & has the japanese motor. All direct drive & all work great. The only things I had a problem with is the drive bar breaking off the eccentric wheel- don't get me wrong, I was pissed because it broke right away, but they sent me a new one quickly after I emailed Solong tattoo, so customer service is good, and to me that is HUGE because ALOT of those chinese companies will give two shits about your complaint. I also ordered a 4mm eccentric wheel from the machine company Xnet & made it fit in my Q1 for a 4mm stroke. I would also highly recommend these machines.
    Congratulations on 100k subscribers! You blew up quick!

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow great info brother. I hope others see this if they are having problems with customer service. smart idea to email Solong directly. And im sure the Q2 is super similar to the Q1,3 and 5 as they are all direct drive and about the same size with similar motors. I also like the idea of switching out the cams for a longer stroke. I could see how you could almost build your own liner, and shader. Again I hope people give your comment a read as there is a lot of good info here that could really help someone out. Thank you again Brother really appreciate the consistent support and info you provide to both me and everyone else here. Keep being awesome and Keep ROcking!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

    • @graffics7665
      @graffics7665 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only problem with ordering the eccentric wheels is the only place I've found them so far is AliExpress. You can buy the original CNC Q-series one for $20 if you click on the machines on there they give you the option to buy it or the Xnet/Ambition one is around $12 but I had to bend my own push bar to fit it with needle nose plyers & standard needle bars. It took a few tries but I was able to make a few with some practice.

    The research available was perfect timing for those of us looking for something different. I used the Xion Spektra from FK Irons. Very nice pen machine with adjustable options.
    I bought the CNC-Q2 due to the research and the motor. I did unfortunately have some issues with my machine after a busy Friday The 13th. Sent the machine to the manufacturer and bought a new one whole I waited. So I now own multiple CNC-Q2 machines. They hit so hard and the lines work is crispy. I'd like to see a version with adjustable stroke. I know there are new lines of machines that come work that. The CNC-Q2 model is great and I highly recommend it.

Do you have a video though or maybe if you could go over the steps and how to lubricate the machine? I have no idea what supply I would use nor have I heard of doing that tbh, I’m afraid I’ll be missing out lol

    Thanks for the info! Very curious about switching to a wireless power pen type machine. They seem pretty cool.

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I felt a little hesitant switching to wireless at first as well. I guess we just get really use to the foot pedal and cord that moving to wireless just seems strange. However I am very happy that I went wireless and can not see going back from here. I guess its not for everyone but its deff for me!

      Not a problem keep it up, and if I ever was interested in sending you fake skin for your fake skin submissions do you take parcels from Canada? I'm not great yet but getting there and just picking a machine up again my self like a month ago after not tattooing for almost 5 years just felt right.

    I think ima buy this like 3 years later or idk honestly there’s a few that are about 50-65$ that are dope and look so simple and good like the ambition torp, and there 2 other small models then the cnc machines

    Hey! You can use the ergo round and ergo 1 inch disposable grips from cheyenne on the cnc q2!!!!

    • @ignaciogarciaresina1612
      @ignaciogarciaresina1612 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also you can use the bishop fantom cams (3.5mm and 4.2mm) and is a straight cam swap( the change in noise and vibration on the machine is incredible!!!)

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow thank you so much for that info. I had no idea that the ergo cheyenne grips work with the Q2. And I had heard that you can switch the cams out as well, but I have never tried it myself. It always great to hear what others are doing and learn something new so thanks you again Ignacio!!🤘🤘

    YES! the direct drive motor where the bar that hits the needle cartridges..... this came off the pin inside mine. How can I fix that?????? This is exactly what my issues were

  • @kogaink

    I bought the cnc q2 after watching your videos on it and I do love how it feels but wonder, would it be worth buying the 4mm cam for the q2 to get better lines and stipple shading? Also bought the wand shader to have a solid shading piece but since both are 3.5 wondering if I should invest in the cam or new lining machine altogether. Thanks for the videos!

    • @LUXINK
      @LUXINK 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have the wand shader, and the Q2, buying a 4.0 cam would be a cheap way to feel out a different throw

    Man thanks for the great honest reviews!
    I'm currently having a hard time decoding between the cbd q2, art tour pro and bronc v10 or v8
    Any thoughts?

  • @laurameeks8653

    I bought a cncq2 on your recommendation but haven’t used it yet. I’ve been using a Bronc short pen which I’m just so used to, it has all the same pluses you mentioned about the Q2, but seeing this video I will probably give it a spin soon. So, what is your new machine?
    I have trouble trying new things when what I’m using works. 😂
