So Beautiful and so warm and cozy!! I love your personality...I was laughing with you when you said the garland fell off your bed onto your heads, I would have jumped up so fast too. You and your husband are just adorable. My husband and I are 56 and 57 and we met when we were 16 and 17. So I love that you and your husband are teenage sweethearts as well. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I have added you both to my prayers as well. :)
I have to say you are amazing! Your home is gorgeous! I am in awe that you can do this while caregiving. I am praying for you on your and Jason's journey. My humble advice to you is to not be afraid to ask for help. You are at the beginning of your journey. Caregiver burnout is real and can be devastating to your well being. "Take care of yourself" can sound so simple and easy to say from others until they go through something like this. I almost lost it when caregiving and going through breast cancer at the same time. Please reach out for support. You are an amazing empathetic woman, hence why you became a nurse. Remember, you are loved.

YOU ARE SO SWEET! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💜 We are filming an update soon! It's actually been me who has been hesitant on filming! TH-cam started recommending the Lewy Body videos to a larger audience, and unfortunately some not so nice people watch and then leave very rude comments. I have most of them deleted, but it's been a bit overwhelming and disheartening. The good out ways the bad, so we agreed to film again!! 💜😊 Thank you so much for your kind support! We really appreciate it!
So sad how negative and mean some people can be. I'm super empathetic as well. I get it. People hurt us with unkind words, which we just let hurt. We can not bday mean things to them... Cause.... Why? I can't intentionally be mean to someone, unless I'm in an argument usually defending someone else! You deserve to be happy, and your decor channel probably helps take care of that. Thank you, again for honestly sharing your life with us!

Hi Leslie, when I was newly married my husband and I moved to Colorado. I was a nurse and he was in the armed forces. It was about1300 miles from where we grew up. And we were so excited to get to live there. Every Christmas people opened their homes to visitors.These were People they did not know and allowed us to look at their beautiful Christmas decor. This was pre- home computer days. And a fun way to spend the season. Some people sold their homemade decorations or recipes. Viewing your home reminds me of that happy time. Thank you for allowing us in to your home. One question: how do we find your Etsy page? Is it the same name as your TH-cam page? I am new to your channel. It's addictive to watch you give something a simple change and it turns into something stunning. I missed this episode last year. But I look forward to watching many more inspiring videos. You have done such an amazing job! So clean and simple, and yet so cozy.. I got my first pencil tree and I had bought a frosty hat,, but wondered if it would look weird but I love it as I do yours.. So glad to see someone else with one.. Thank you for your other video showing us how to decorate a skinny tree.. I have some lights on n the hat n that's about it so far.. I've never done ribbon because it's so intimidating, but with your simple direction's maybe I will try this year.. Great video.. Oh, and you are so sweet n lovely.. Hi Leslie, You are a breath of fresh air. I stumbled onto your video tonight of you and your husband (9 months ago) announcing to the TH-cam world about his disease. Your a beautiful couple and once you started talking and got choked up I did not want to stop the video and move on. I believe Jesus wanted me to see your journey. Imagine I was looking for a friend's Christmas video and I saw the square with you and I had never heard of Lewy Body Dementia. I know this is your happy channel but I was not able to comment on your video with your husband. My brother is 55 years old and 2 yrs ago today on 11/29 his son's 20th bday, my brother fell 10 feet off a ladder onto the ground. He was in a coma for a month spent many months at a hosp just for brain trauma patients. His neurologist is the same doctor that a Hollywood comedian had a few years back, the name escapes me. My brother after PT OT Speech and much cognitive learning finally went home right before Christmas last year to a brand new house he had not lived in yet, they bought it right before he fell. He made great money and his wife was unemployed at the time. My mom paid the first 7 mortgage payments. My brother went to a day program everyday for cognitive learning. He started doing very well. A friend took him fishing and his artwork started to improve. He has an art degree. Then last Feb while my dad was visiting him (we live on VA my brother in NJ) all of a sudden Steve was brushing his hair and his brush sunk into his head. My dad rushed him to the ER. He developed an infection on his brain that deteriorated his skull. They took 40% of his skull out and a form of his was bring made in Sweden. With the flap of his hairline now laying against his brain he lost coordination with his hand and arm and leg on left side. Due to Covid 19 it slowed down his titanium skull from coming. He was in the hosp for 161 days. He went to the ER 2/15 and he never went home. 4 days after his surgery 3 months ago he went to a rehab facility where he is still there but was told last Wed that due to Covid 19 less therapists will be coming to work with the patients. We were hoping he woukd be home by Christmas. The NJ govenor will not let VA people to visit the state. I have not seen him since January. My dad hasnt seen him for many months. My mom has pancreatic cancer and we are so concerned she will pass away before NJ lifts the ban for Virginians to visit. It is so hard to remember that Jesus has us in the palm of His hand.
In closing I want to tell you I will pray for you and your husband. He is a precious soul. I loved watching him do his little dance while you were on the ladder. My mom's favorite song is You Are My Sunshine. Her mother sang that to her as a little girl. I made her a card for her bday with the lyrics. Also, just yesterday I got a new miter box saw to make a Christmas tree like you did out of pallet wood. I am making mine out of paint sticks and I want to paint it white and with black vynal letters on each stick write the words Wise Men Still Seek Him for my mom's Christmas gift. She saw one last yr in a magazine. So cool that you made what I want to make. Last but not least (I took notes while on your tour) my mom and I love the word JOY and we both have too many Joy items now...maybe.But, for us it stands for Jesus Others Yourself. That bedding though 🥰 We’ve swapped from a high thread count Egyptian cotton to QVC’s Cozee Home (never thought I’d sleep on fleece bedding!) but yours looks So Cosy .....think my little rescue dog, Sooty, would love it.....and my husband, he’s not a fan of ‘sheet shock’ cold bedding 🥶😂😆

Christmas in July lol as of 7/13/21. Everything looks wonderful but my favorite is your Christmas on the farm picture.
My daughter got married in December and actually HAD a hot chocolate bar as part of the deserts table! It was a BIG hit! We offered peppermint sticks, marshmallows, etc. at the table with alcoholic “additives” available at the bar

I only put up a tree every year and that usually stay up until February I’m ashamed to say sometimes even March. I can’t imagine all this to take down and store away for next year. 🤣🤣🤣 my house would be Christmas themed for half the year!
