You can do it! if it's a new one it will come with manuals for each and every system that was installed at the factory. READ THEM! So many people don't and things fail. There is a large amount of incorrect information out there! I have all the periodic maintenance items loaded in my phones calendar so I get reminders to take care of things.

great video! we stay in our camper all summer and over the years we've had to do a lot of toilet lessons. We all went through this at one point so nobody should feel intimidated about asking other campers what to do...especially regarding the awning.

I've been in my rv about two weeks-after educating myself about the black tank,I decided to put my tp in a small trash with a lid,rather then flush it.Once the bag gets full,replace it.With an enclosed trash,there is no smell,AND a black tank clog or buildup is a lot less likely.BTW,after doing this awhile,I realized you put A LOT more toilet paper,then poo in your toilet!

You should've rented a few before buying, to see what you want in one or what not. It's a few thousand dollars investment. Seems I'm a few months late

Get a spray bottle with a strong jet stream and fill it with soapy water for stubborn bits (ZEP makes a good one). Good luck on the trip!

Keep some soapy water in a good spray bottle under the sink for dislodging the occasional bits. You’ll be good then

@@davidclt I’ve never used anything but Scott for RV paper. It’s not worth the risk to try cheaper paper then have to pay to have it removed
