Jesus shakes up our preconceived notions of the Kingdom of God through the two tiny parables he narrates in today's Gospel.
Like the seed that is sown, it takes its time to grow, even while unnoticed. It yields its fruits in due time. We need only to hope and wait while continuing our unending task of being at the service of the Kingdom.
The mustard seed, the proverbial tiny seed can break the ground and rise above defying the gravity and stand tall. The little men and women of this world will reclaim their rightful place in this world of inequality and injustice.
Let's imbibe within us this spirit of hope, patience and relentless pursuit of the Kingdom of God on the Earth.

ஏற்றத்தாழ்வு அதிகமாக இருக்கும் நாடு இந்தியா. இந்த ஏற்றத்தாழ்வினை அகற்ற வேண்டும் என்றால், நாம் சுரண்டப்படுகிறோம் என்கிற புரிதல் நமக்குள்ளே உருவாக வேண்டும். நம்மிடையே உள்ள சாதி என்கிற அமைப்பு ஏற்றத்தாழ்வினை பாதுகாக்கிறது என்கிற உண்மையையும் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். கூடவே மதங்களுக்கும் ஏற்றத்தாழ்விற்கு துணை போவது வருந்தத்தக்கது.
