During a Yoga Nidra session, the practitioner lies down or sits comfortably and is guided through a series of visualizations, affirmations, and breathing exercises. The purpose of these exercises is to calm the mind, release tension from the body, and promote deep relaxation.
    Yoga Nidra has been shown to be effective in managing chronic pain, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving sleep. It has also been used as a tool for self-exploration and to promote personal growth and healing. The practice can be done for just a few minutes a day or for longer periods and can be easily adapted for people of all ages and abilities.
    Yoga Nidra is a gentle and non-invasive way to manage chronic pain and can be a complementary therapy to traditional medical treatments. It is a valuable tool for managing chronic pain and improving overall well-being. By practicing Yoga Nidra regularly, you can experience significant reductions in pain, stress, and anxiety, and experience greater overall peace and contentment.

    Maybe it's because I am a Gemini, but I enjoy the different pathways you take us through the rotation of consciousness each time. I feel like an entire weekend retreat could be held exploring the opposites of resentment and contentment. In the short time we were there, I became aware of the possibility that even my deepest desires, my highest aspirations are fueled by resentment, not wanting what is, a mental image only, static and fixed compared to the flowing stream of contentment. Amazing the doors that can the opened, the possibilities seen in such a short linear time in deep contemplation.

    The pages of my book of my life were meant to bring me to where I am now is difficult for me to hear. I am a senior citizen and my life has been a struggle. If I had been reared by healthy parents wouldn’t my story been completely different? Explain what you mean. I have benefited much from your meditations.

      I am sorry to hear that you have struggled all of these years. I can only imagine the weight your upbringing has had on your heart and soul. Recognizing where you don’t want to be… brings you closer to understanding where you would like to be.
      Your parents may have mislead you but it’s never too late to take your power back… it may be challenging to forgive them but consoling your inner child, the one who feels they were not given the opportunities they needed, can be done and could serve a healing experience. In therapy, they call this technique reparenting and I will send you a message when I have created a nidra on this. 🖤☁️🙏
