I love Ben's pitch that it started as a hunt, that over the centuries becomes some kind of Predator courtship ritual and Wolverine is really none the wiser for the majority of it.

Since Wolverine recovered all of his memories in House of M, it stands to reason that is how he remembers fighting the Predator.
On the subject of Predator personalities, in the Big Game comic, the first thing that one does is blow up a boar with a plasma cannon and then showboat about it. Sometimes they really don’t care about the sport of it, like a lot of real hunters.
I want a Predator Crossover with Punisher, Moon Knight, Blade, or Daredevil. These are all good possible alternatives to doing someone other than Wolverine.
I want to see all 3 minutes of Predator vs Hulk.

The Weapon-X scientists reaction to the predator makes me think THEY should find some xenomorphs.
You have no idea how badly I wanted this book to have a moment where the scientists walk into a heavily-secured room and there’s just a big splash-page reveal of a Xenomorph in a stasis tank that just says “WEAPON XM” on the front in big letters
Edit: I’d also like to add that the post-credits tease for this panel should say, *TO BE CONTINUED IN: ALIEN VS WOLVERINE!!!* Like, tell me you wouldn’t be hyped for that, come on.

They had humongous consequences in one story, but AFAIK they were never encountered again. Correct me if I'm wrong!
@@cullenn2100 i doubt it was ever referenced directly again, but I do like the idea of this basically throwaway crossover that would be totally forgotten today most likely actually had pretty big repercussions on mainline continuity.

Moose are sometimes but rarely hunted by Orca so it's not impossible for the Predator to hunt one... its a stretch but not impossible.

As soon as Marvel published a Predator comic, this is the exact story I needed Marvel to make and I loved this series. Great episode! Also I felt the exact same way when they hired Greg Land lol
id love if there was a variant cover for this supposed daredevil vs predator comic, where the two of them are in a symmetrical kind of standoff, but its drawn/designed where the predator looks like how daredevil would "see" him, and daredevil is shown in that infrared vision tech that predator has.

Reading the story was one thing. Hearing it laid out - tricking the Predator off cliffs, into a bear cave, Wolverine falling splat, etc - you begin to realize it’s actually Road Runner vs Coyote.
What’s been throwing me about the rancor skull is if Star Wars exists within Marvel, does that mean all the times it’s referenced in comics - as well as the time Marvel’s referred to the Predator and maybe Alien franchises - it’s potentially documentaries? We need the story of Spider-Man and Johnny Storm misappropriating Reed’s tech to go check out a galaxy far far away because you know they would have done it.
As for Xenomorphs also being in Star Wars…now I want a four issue limited of one rampaging through the Death Star and the last page is Vader coming back, tired from some Rebel nonsense, and taking out the Xeno in a panel before heading back to his napping pod.
That and “Wolverine vs Predator II” where the Predators realize they can keep putting chest bursters in Logan - because he’ll heal - to populate their game reserves.
Don’t blame me. Marvel opened the door for this weirdness. :)

daredevil vs predator is such a cool idea for a book and the fact they’ll never do it makes me genuinely so upset
I'm sure I'm biased toward my favorite character, but Hulk vs. Predator feels like a no-brainer. Like this book you could have it go through Hulk's history. The Predator has to figure out that Banner and Hulk are the same person and how to trigger their change. Then it could be that the Predator is too honorable to attack Banner, so it has to wait.
Or it's not honorable and it assassinates Banner and goes to take it home, but Hulk transforms mid-flight and the ship crashes and the Predator becomes the hunted.
I'm just spit balling here, but I think there's really something to Hulk vs. Predator.
My pitch: Predator vs Black Panther. It would have a bit of irony to it, considering in the comics, T’Chala’s first 2 appearances had him hunting the Fantastic Four. Plus the Predator having to deal with a even fight, T’Chala’s already biologically augmented, and you get Predator tech and weapons vs Vibranium tech and weapons. Have the Predator stalk T’Chala in Birnin Zana, and then shoots down T’Chala whilst he’s in a Quinjet, heading to New York with a diplomatic attaché and possibly a member of the Dora Milaje, (you need bodies in a predator story) and have them crash into the jungle or the savanna. Maybe the Predator get their hands on the Heart-shaped Herb and are met by the Predator God/ The Final Hunter in a vision quest. Might even get a cameo/assist from Klonven the Hunter? There’s a lot of cool things you could do.

Venom vs Predator would be really cool. Get some cool lore of the Predators hunting symbiotes on different planets and by the end you could have Venom face off against a Predator wearing a symbiote.

Predator vs. Bruce Banner (Hulk): Bruce is at the point in his life where he has control over his transformation. He doesn't want the Hulk coming out anymore and he's trying to live a normal life. The Predators got wind of the Hulk and see him as an ultimate trophy. So the book is Bruce getting hunted but he keeps evading (We can just say he learned some stuff from *insert any marvel hero you'd like* So eventually the one predator causes Bruce to finally Hulk out and he obliterates that Predator. So the predator "calls" for help and it ends up being Hulk against like 8 (or more) predators. Thoughts?
OK, new pitch. Predator versus planet of the Apes. The predator comes back to earth to discover the hierarchy of earth has changed.

Wait until you hear about magneto, a character made before wolverine, and definitely 100% science based

That Predator is real lucky it didn't attack the Xavier School during Jean's time as Phoenix.
As for future Predator/Marvel stories, how about one where Hawkeye isn’t the prey but notices a pattern in ‘assassination attempts’ around a cartel or military unit and begins to track down their killer, who just so happens to be a Pred. So it’d be Clint trying to prevent further killings and having to be really inventive in how he deals with the Predator without putting himself directly in the firing line.
Or a subversion, where Kraven the Hunter becomes aware of a Predators’ stomping ground and begins to pursue and track the alien, planning to hunt and kill the creature. The Predator becomes the prey for Marvel’s most obsessive hunter!

Honestly I like the idea of taking a Marvel Team or character to the Predator Planet. Id love if they do Thunderbolts vs Predator with this idea in mind. That or Blade vs Predator.
The fight wouldnt be as one sided as youd think. The first predator was smacking 80s arnold around without even trying. Yeah wolverine has super strength but 80s arnold in his movies may as well have been a superhero

Predator vs blank panther. You would have to find a way to write around some of wakanda's high tech weaponry but come on its superhero comics. If they can give the flash cool and compelling fights a black panther vs predator fight should be easy to figure out.
