I've been feeling overwhelmed lately with my island. Been changing my mind every week. I feel like I want to do everything at once. But this kind of island reminds me that I can build simple and still feel like I've achieved beauty. It's obviously so hard to do, but it's great to remind ourselves that sometimes less is more, especially if you're like me and you want every tile to be covered, hehe! Thanks for the tour and kudos to the creator! 💕
this island is by far my favourite. all islands are amazing but i just love the simplicity it has. i find that over-cluttering (which most people do) is just so overwhelming and in my opinion, doesn’t look nice. sometimes less is more. i love this island so much!!❤
I absolutely love how simple this looks! Not as overwhelming with a lot of decor but enough to make the island looks just as amazing even with no flowers. I think this is very appealing in its own and it shows that you don’t need to go heavy on decorating all areas of your island. This is very inspiring! I thought I wouldn’t end up liking how my island looks but islands like this give me a reason to love my island and I’m actually happy of how it turns out. Thank you for sharing this unique island!
Well, I'm done. I'll never make anything as beautiful as this island. It's just my ideal, and someone else made it. Everything just works so perfectly, and I have no idea how they made some of those design decisions. Why place those fish drying tracks where they did? I have no clue, and I can't explain why they look so right where they are. I give up. Kudos to the person who designed this island; they really have a gift. And to the person who posted this, thanks for the video, you do just the right amount of dialogue to keep it interesting without it seeming too much. Thank you for sharing your time on this beautiful island.
This is a really great inspiration island. I like the word you use "intentional." It feels simple but there is a reason for everything. I will definitely use it as inspiration for my own island, the only thing I would do different (and this is totally just preference) is add some more primary/secondary statement colors. Almost like very vintage Ikea where it was minimal but then for some reason the chair would just be yellow or the table is green.
LOL, I love how at first the big thing in ACNH was cluttercore, cluttercore, SLAP AS MANY ITEMS AND CODES AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN EVERYWHERE AAAAAHHHH!!! And now it's all simplistic...minima...empty space. Complete 180's are fun. 🙃
I was putting down one item at a time and visiting Isabelle, dreading that I would need an island that looked like a tornado passed through just to get it to five stars. Luckily, it wasn’t so. Phew.
Currently trying to make my restarted island natural and chill but interesting and “lived in” - love this inspo. Plus I love how relaxed your videos are ❤
I’m so inspired by this! Absolutely love how minimal and spacious yet pretty and natural everything is. I recently restarted my island and have unsubscribed to Nintendo online so the use of the dirt path is really giving me ideas ❤
I think the most unique thing about this island is the lack of flowers. I've seen minimal flowers but I think this is the first island I've seen with no flowers planted at all. It's so lovely and I would never have considered using no flowers
I’m definitely gonna get inspo from their waterscaping as you can see the entire thing and how they’ve done it! :) I have the same layout so I might use this river for my island
Oh no! You missed the whole inside "island" that the river creates where it forms a full loop in the upper right corner of the map. You had to jump across some of the little land "stones" the user created in the river to get to the middle, because they opted not to lay any bridges to it. I can't lie, I'm actually a little bummed not to get to see it , as this has been one of my favorite islands! I blame the fact that the museum was still in a tent on the front of the area. It distracted us all when you looked across the river at it. haha
@daynix_hazama, I looked it up and there are different ones for different seasons, which would update your paths automatically if you overwrite the previous ones. BUT...the color of the dirt doesn't match either of the dirt paths in-game, which they need to connect to. I'm bummed because I'm working on a diagonal path right now but it's not working out because of this.
Kyuubi said island/s 55 times...great drinking game 😂 Loved this island and happy you at least did the main house interior. We don't mind long videos btw
I don’t know what people are actually trying to go for with their ACNH islands, but I’m from Trinidad, and I don’t get a feeling of home when I look at any of them. Not that I really think I could create one that looks like home, but most look so over the top wild and chaotic, half of what you see isn’t even accessible, and I can never remember where anything is located. This is a marked improvement, but all the houses looking the same kills it for me. Even when all the houses in a neighborhood have the same color (often white) in Trinidad, the designs are completely different, so much so that no one can confuse yours with the neighbors’ houses around it. Your house is its own landmark and that’s intentional. Everyone is proud of their house that stands out from the rest. Some apartment buildings were built on the beach (a travesty from most of the public’s point of view) and there weren’t enough rich people to fill them. Just one of the turn offs to people was that every apartment looked exactly the same-since most never saw the interior(s), they were referring to the exterior. They were an eye sore to most people.
This kind of islands are my favorite, not over crowded, very spacious, easy to navigate and aesthetic pleasant. We created a tropical island trying to get on the simple side, we've prioritized the aesthetics, the open spaces, functional buildings (All Open air venues, not panels or fake buildings), and we made it easy to navigate, so that you can visit all the standard buildings (Ables, Museum and Resident Services) but also the School, the Hospital, the Mall and the Family House.
Hey you might like my island as well! It’s also minimalistic but decorated in a very natural, village-like way. It actually kinda reminds me of this one :) Let me know if you want to tour it!
I love this kind of minimalistic, clean design. Love how they made it look spacious. It’s so comfy and soothing to look at. My absolute fav❤

This is exactly what I needed to see. I always see videos that are beautiful islands but SO full. Thank you!
It really reminds me of an island 😆
Which is what animal crossing is supposed to be but we all go out of hand with decorations 😂
This is probably my favorite island tour ever. It’s so so gorgeous. Totally going to use this layout on my island

Hahah. So true. I always used to do cluttered island but now I’m more focused on the nature aspects of islands.
I was putting down one item at a time and visiting Isabelle, dreading that I would need an island that looked like a tornado passed through just to get it to five stars. Luckily, it wasn’t so. Phew.

Ugh it’s gorgeous
this is perfect timing!! i reset my island and i want to make a simple natural island :) thanks for the inspo!
Minimalist and so zen. I love the decoration of her house so much ❤
정말 제가 원하던 섬이네요 ㅜㅜ 여백의미가있고 그린과 화이트톤의 조합 ㅜㅜ 너무 좋아요 보기만해도 힐링됩니다❤

This is what I am currently trying to achieve on my island. so beautiful and it's stunning that not even one flower was used for this island 🤯
That view with the lighthouses is amazing!

I'm in love with this island
This island is so pretty.
islands like this make me stim a lot :000
My kind of island...clean and natural !
I love this clean island, not much terraforming, so gorgeous

Also I’m suffering major burnout so this island is perfect to use as an example of how you can keep your island simple and easy to navigate

their house is gorgeous
I want to use the diagonal dirt path, it's so minimalistic and gorgeous, but I don't have online to be changing it every season lol 😂
That’s a good point, I hadn’t thought of having to change the diagonal grass bits with every season! 😅

Wow this is like the Marie Kondo method but in a good way.
i love her island

It’s just a game

Why don't you have the boat in port??
I want to play this game now.
what is the code to the main path on the island?
