There is also a Scottish baskethilt known as a break or beaknose baskethilt doesn't have the blade loops does have a pointer bit.
@@PandaKnight52 Gave it a google and oh wow those are some of the nicest baskets hilts I’ve ever seen.I’ll try digging up some more info on them because I’d love to try a more faithful rendition next time around
