Holy shit, I love you, that’s great-!! I would absolutely love to see them and the dedication to travel, damn bro I respect you so much. Gahhh, best wishes to you and your family.
Wimbledon is the Tennis, this gig was at Wembley which is a football (soccer) stadium (90,000 + capacity). There is also Wembley arena where many many more rock concerts are played which is 12,500 capacity.
I mean he used to teach himself piano by listening to his grandmothers records and copying them. Then he was given a guitar and did the same thing with that, listens to songs and worked them out.
Wembley Stadium, where they were playing, is where they usually player soccer not tennis. The tennis championships you were talking about is played at Wimbledon which is still in London and not too far from Wembley.
Looking at the Muse you've reacted to, there's a lot of the best meat still on the bone. Check out "New Born", "Absolution", "Stockholm Syndrome", "Hysteria", and "Muscle Museum" for starters.
You should do Muse - Stockholm Syndrome (live) or their songs Space Dementia and Citizen Erased. Also, I wouldn't compare Muse to ACDC, Muse are more like the modern Queen.
Yay, Muse! If you can see them live, do it, my guys. Also, try Time is Running Out. You’re correct about the butterfly effect. Muse is like listening to a force of nature
Great song and great reaction as always dudes. Muse are a great band. I live in Exeter, Devon in the UK and Muse grew up just a few miles down the road from me in Teignmouth. So many great songs by them you could check out such as New Born, Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome, Citizen Erased, Plug in Baby, Bliss, Madness, Sunburn, Time Is Running Out and Muscle Museum to name just a small handful.
I've seen Muse twice at the O2, during the 2nd Law and then the Drones tours and they truly deserve all the awards they received for Best live Act over the years. "This guy's showing off now!" Well yes and no. Yes the piano bit is in the song but he's actually playing it faster than the studio version. Stockholm Syndrome, Hysteria, Knights of Cydonia, New Born, Liquid State (where Chris the bassist gets to flex his vocals), Survival, The 2nd Law (Unsustainable), there's just so many great songs to pick.
"He showing off now, that ain't even supposed to be in the show" had me rolling 😂 You'll be surprised to know that this is how studio version goes too 😭 They're that gooddd
Me again, suggesting y'all to react to Slowdive, Ride and My Bloody Valentine as a starting point to get to explore shoegazing and the magical world of beautiful noise, I'm quite sure y'all will appreciate it! ________ One of the best things about Muse (I have to admit I stopped listening to them since The Resistance) is that their live versions give all of the power of studio versions with a bit more passion, more OOOMPH if that's possible. Regarding Matt Bellamy's piano playing, he might be the best in rock and rock-adjacent genres by far. His playing (and the parts he plays) are more suited to let's say a piano sonata/concerto from the Romantic period, pretty much like putting Rachmaninov with drums, bass and vocals instead of an orchestra. But it doesn't feel pompous or ridiculous as many progressive metal/symphonic metal bands. That's quite something.
Butterfly Effect IS Right. That's reflected in the light notes that build into crescendos. one small pebble in a pond that can cause ripple that expand outwards . The power of the small that can change the world.and the Urgency imbedded in the rhythm.
Live at Wembley was peak Muse -- before every album was Uprising again. Every song from that concert was a trip. The final 4 songs from that concert will destroy you in bliss. If you can find the playlist for 2007 Live at Wembley go to Blackout, Plugin Baby, Stockholm Syndrome then Take a Bow. It will leave you a changed person.
Chaos theory is that you're talking about I think man. This is an old song for Muse and an old concert too, still awesome though. Seen them live 3 times now and they are fkin awesome and rock really hard. Lads, you've got to see them live if you get chance soon.
Love this band to death, got to see them in Minneapolis in 2013, there live shows are amazing. Only show that visuals and stage setup came close to a Tool show.
I learned the piano solo when i was 17. Its incredibly flashy, but its literally just arpeggio triads up and down the keys. Once you grt the technique down its not so difficult in comparison to learning and playing a chopin poece. Which matt can and has done on albums.
If you're still interested in doing Muse reactions, you should check out "New Born". I discovered it on the soundtrack of one of the wildest horror movies I've ever seen to date (High Tension).
I'm sure you guys got alot of requests for Muse's song Assassin so i hope you guys react to it soon. I would suggest their performance from the Mayan it's 🔥.
If you can see this band live GO DO IT. You think watching a live video is great? (It is) Wait until you are hearing this envelop your entire body. It's an experience.
A couple of others where piano plays a significant role: Space Dementia (see pinkpop version), The Globalist (Glastonbury 2016), and of course, Exogenesis symphony (studio version, do all 3 parts together).
@@Ginric99 great song with a beautiful piano outtro, but it's probably one of the simpler piano sections is a must song, or at least, simpler than the 3 I listed.
Wembley is where Live Aid(1985), Live 8(2005, Queen's iconic performance, I think?), anything huge, musically, happens. Tennis is Wimbledon, easy mistake to make.
Yo Smokey and Barringer ironically my name is Matt as well but I'm definitely not a patreon member like I said before I will not do that but I will. I know that's one way to directly support you guys I understand that but I don't like that only to just give out money I like four people so you guys are definitely running it and I definitely value merchandise which is awesome but you just continue to do what you do and we the true fans will definitely follow thank you very much
I knew you guys were going to go crazy for the piano part. Matt Bellamy is a super talented musician. I can't remember what song it is, but there is a song where he whistles at the beginning and even him just whistling is amazing.
Please, please please hear more MUSE, listen to studio versions ( just go on their channel on TH-cam) of ,: For Matt's beautiful, stunning lead vocals " Blackout" song, For Chris' incredible, brilliant bass " Hysteria" song he's non stop and admits it hurts his fingers every time he plays it. and for Dom's just fantastic , awesome drumming "Assassin" song . Soooo many more but that will do for the meantime. 😎🤟❤️🙋🏻♀️🏴🇬🇧
Muse ROCKS 🤘🏼 U guys feeling em in this one .. Check out Incubus - Priceless [Live at Red Rocks 2004(or anything from this show)] even those are Trippy Live 🤘🏼
There is also space dementia by muse, matt plays the piano throughout the song yet it is still quite a heavy song. I would reccomend the live version if you are interested.
If you count keyboardists as pianists, you definately have to check out a power metal band called Stratovarius. They're from Finland and are one of the pioneers of the genre. They are legendary for having guitar and keyboard duels in their songs with tasteful fast shredding. A good song to start with from them would be the video for 'My Eternal Dream' 😊👍
The realization that this song is 20 years old next year hit ME like a goddamn hurricane.
Fuck me, don't.
I want to thumbs down this comment only for how accurate it is...
Same here
Same
😢😢😢 EHAT FUCK IM OLD😢😢😢😢
I was in that crowd... travelled from Portugal to England to see this historic concert live and it was AWESOME!!!
Me too….(but didn’t travel from Portugal😹) the 1st night at Wembley
Holy shit, I love you, that’s great-!! I would absolutely love to see them and the dedication to travel, damn bro I respect you so much. Gahhh, best wishes to you and your family.
@@FoxkøøStudios77 Thank you man :) Hope you get to see them live someday :)
Do Muse “Stockholm Syndrome “- live from the Mayan Theater. My favorite song and it ROCK’S!!!
Or the studio version really. That song is awesome, good call.
Thats a good one! I also really like 'time is running out' and 'supermassive blackhole'
Glastonbury 04 for the scream and destruction
Mayan is rubbish lol. Listen to that song from Glastonbury 2004….now that rocks
Matt Bellamy is a classically trained pianist. He's a great guitarist and vocalist as well.
I'd say he's a better than great guitarist 👍
@@DarkPsyence agreed 💯
No, he's not classically trained.
He's self taught. For a long time I thought he was classically trained.
He isn't classically trained, which just makes it better
Wimbledon is the Tennis, this gig was at Wembley which is a football (soccer) stadium (90,000 + capacity). There is also Wembley arena where many many more rock concerts are played which is 12,500 capacity.
Matt Bellamy was a pianist before a guitar player, and he's very influenced by classical music, so that's why.
I mean he used to teach himself piano by listening to his grandmothers records and copying them. Then he was given a guitar and did the same thing with that, listens to songs and worked them out.
Great reaction guys. You're just barely scratching the surface of this insanely talented band. Look forward to hearing more Muse.
Muse- Citizen Erased, dead star, plug in baby, new born!! Great reaction guys, love from Denmark!
Wembley Stadium, where they were playing, is where they usually player soccer not tennis. The tennis championships you were talking about is played at Wimbledon which is still in London and not too far from Wembley.
I was at this show, absolutely mind blowing.
Thanks Matt. This was my suggestion after the last Muse reaction too 😁
Looking at the Muse you've reacted to, there's a lot of the best meat still on the bone.
Modern day Queen is how I always describe Muse. Their music is just so epic!
Muse actually perform one of AC/DC songs live and Bryan Johnson was singing with them😎
I am personally offended that you haven't heard Hysteria yet. Easily one of the greatest basslines ever written
The Tennis as at Wimbledon, Wembley is our national stadium used primarily for Football (soccer)
Best band ever. And for ever.
Underrated band by far.
Yay, Muse! If you can see them live, do it, my guys. Also, try Time is Running Out. You’re correct about the butterfly effect. Muse is like listening to a force of nature
+1. Also, Wembley's Time Is Running Out is even better that the album version in my opinion.
I love Muse! One of my favorite bands. I found them in highschool. Definitely hard hearing it's over 20 years old ugh.
I love Muse piano based songs like “Sunburn” its so beautiful and powerful like
Wimbledon is the tennis my friends, Wembley is the football world cup stadium in england. A full sized stadium.
Great song and great reaction as always dudes. Muse are a great band. I live in Exeter, Devon in the UK and Muse grew up just a few miles down the road from me in Teignmouth. Stockholm Syndrome live Glastonbury 2004 is fire🔥🔥🔥 best live version
Muse have won 100's of awards and a vast majority of them are for their live performances. Don't ask for their studio stuff. Live is their thing.
I've seen Muse twice at the O2, during the 2nd Law and then the Drones tours and they truly deserve all the awards they received for Best live Act over the years. "This guy's showing off now!" that...I mean THAT Rochimanov-esque piano solo/bridge indeed is *L I T* 🤗🤟🏻😏👍🏻😎
One of my favorites from Muse by far ❤
The intro comment killed me xD
stoopid butterflies...
Wow! That was awesome! I never really heard of muse til I seen them on your channel. Nice! Thanks guys!!❤️🤓
Tennis is Wimbledon, football is Wembley.
This song has saved my life several times
Mathew and the band in general have saved me from some real shitty stuff.
Glad you’re still rocking out on earth 🎸
Wembly = soccerball. Tennis = Wimbledon. They're a few miles apart.
"He showing off now, that ain't even supposed to be in the show" had me rolling 😂

Stockholm Syndrome from Glastonbury 2004 is one of the best live performances ever!!!
I love your reactions.
That was the original version played live
Early Muse is just insanely good.
Plug in baby
my recommendation for you" Stockholm Syndrom", my favorite Muse Song
This song is very motivating . One of my biggest dreams is to get to see Muse live
This one got me to subscribe, love Muse, cheers.
This Band awakens me!
Space dementia is a hard rock piano song.
The tennis is Wimbledon lol. Wembley stadium is the football/soccer. Though it could be the arena, which is a different venue all together.
Matt (and MUSE) actually played Back in Black WITH the singer from AC/DC and everyone absolutely loved it!
Gotta do Knights of Cydonia from this same concert
They've done it from Rome live

Gosh! There's a lot of wrestlers from California! Vader, The Rock, Rey Mysterio Jr, Rikishi, Tank Abbott and Jim Neidhart just to name a few! 🤘🏼💙🤘🏼
Tennis is at Wimbledon, soccer at Wembley. Btw Map of the Problematique and Mercy are both great songs by Muse. Keep it up boys.
You Guys have to go on a Muse Koncert ....it will blown you away .
For me the greatest Band on Earth... and Cydonia 🥰😅

As for a great pianist there's Tuomas Holopainen from nightwish:) love him!! (Had to look up the spelling of his name.) lol!!
Wimbledon is where the tennis is!
OMG quel génie Matt Muse phenomenal grandiose merci les gars vous êtes fan et moi donc.. Bonne continuation bises de France 🇫🇷🙏😱👍👏🎸🎶🎵🎼💖

I knew you guys were going to go crazy for the piano part. Matt Bellamy is a super talented musician. I can't remember what song it is, but there is a song where he whistles at the beginning and even him just whistling is amazing.
Don't know if you've done it but Citizen Erased live at Le Zenith is another great one that has Matt playing both guitar and piano.
If you haven't already. You guys would do well to check out knights of cydonia from wembley stadium.
Axl rose is a great pianist

For Matt's beautiful, stunning lead vocals " Blackout" song,
