She said it all. "I shouldn't be surprised that he can play piano like this, he is an incredible musician but I'm blown away.
I am a thrash head, metal head, classic rock head... but my old band's lead singer took me to see Muse once, and what a show. I mean, holy
The look on your faces in the piano solo was PRICELESS!!! How cool is that in a hard rock concert, in a second a guy is jamming on his guitar and in the next he's busting out an amazing piano solo?!? This song is pure genius!
Muse were at this point in time the BEST band in the world... that much was clear!!
I was at that concert and there's no words to match the talent of these guys!
Best live band out there in my opinion. So talented. Keep on with the MUSE reactions. ♥️ from 🇬🇧
Sadly alot of english people dont like muse. Im proud of them as an arab always will support them. But when they came here to dubai the english people were booing them. And i told them shame on you.
@@ahabbellamy8098 I've been to 2 Muse concerts in England. have never seen them booed
@@ahabbellamy8098 Must be the ex pat gammons who run on hate and hypocrisy
@@ahabbellamy8098 that’s so sad to hear. I haven’t found anyone that doesn’t like them in England (I know there will be some), but never heard them booed and the concerts are packed full. What a shame 🙁
Agreed. I've seen probably 200 bands live in my lifetime. Muse is hands-down the best live, and it's not even close.
As soon as I saw this one I clicked on it. I just wanted to see their jaws drop when Matt hit the piano like a virtuoso. Always wonderful!
With Muse 1 Song can be like a whole concert: slow, fast, piano, guitars, loud, quiet, every possible element in one song and that you get 20 times (or however many songs they are playing in one night). And this song is the best example. Love them.
According to the biography I have Matt Bellamy taught himself to play classical music by listening to it, I couldn’t play Rachmaninov after years of lessons, he taught himself, he is amazing. I have always loved rock musicians who fuse classical and rock influences.
Like Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. He taught himself to play most instruments. Brian May of Queen taught himself guitar. All the best ones just seem to have an ear for it.
Legendary song and performance.
Matt Bellamy is a genius.
Genius hasnt made a good record in over ten years lol
@@aidan8473 that doesnt make him less genius.
@@aidan8473 Oh dear, there's always one...tell me, how's your song writing prowess?
@@HughJaxident67 exactly :) i also don’t know why people always talk in records, talk in songs. But thats my opinion!
@aidan8473 I agree with you. Since 2nd law I haven't been the same. Their first four albums dint compare to their radio pop songs now
One of my absolutely spine tingling favourites.
I'm a huge Muse fan, this is EASILY my fav song! Must've heard it 100s of times and it never gets old. Not a direct comparison but I often think of it as their "Bohemian Rhapsody". I can also play the piano solo! (not as well as Matt though) 😁
This is the first time I have seen or heard this band. 🤯 I was actually thinking when he started playing piano that it totally gave me a Freddie Mercury vibe 😁 loved it
@@kimzwolinski9919 few recommendations for you, citizen erased, blackout, stockholm syndrome, deadstar, assassin, exogenesis symphony, muscle museum, the handler
@@proevoisace7 thanks for the suggestions 😊
@@kimzwolinski9919 also new song: kill or be killed
@@Dan-os9kg good shout
A couple of other piano impressive ones are Space Dementia (pinkpop 2004) and The Globalist (Glastonbury 2016. And of course, Exogenesis symphony.
The live content from Wembley and Rome belongs to the best live music material ever created until today - won't discuss that. Muse made history with those gigs.
Butterfly effect. The theory is a butterfly flaps its wings and kicks off a chain reaction of events that results in a hurricane. Like a pebble dropped in a pond, the ripples spread out on and on, to cover the lake , disturbing its entire surface. I think this piece of music is both inspirationally galvanising and the music represents that a few piano notes can have just as powerful an impact as the tempo that it leads into. The smallest thing can pack a punch. It's sounds bloody thrilling!!
Sorry if I proceeded to Musesplain.
22 times live baby!
this show is one of their best performances
During the piano, we can all imagine a beautiful butterfly struggling through a strong wind.
Here comes the hurricane from the other side of the world.
This intro plus the whole song really came from a world famous composer by the name of Ennio Morricone. It accompanied one of best western movies of the 1950's called "Once Upon A Time In The West". Great Movie. Great Sound Track. Matt does a great job of borrowing this one.
They have the sound for stadiums
Muse - Showbiz (Live 2017)
2023 they closed it out
Magic! Seen them 4 times in England, including this one fro 2007, they get better and better every time!
There's a video from 1994 of Muse - yes, the same 3 guys - playing their school talent show. They were already playing like they shared one mind back then.
Matt Bellamy is an awesome singer, lyricist and musician that guy can do everything, and then when we put him together with such a talented drummer and bassist as Dom and Chris, we have the best band in the world, they can deliver in all of the capacities of a live concert. Matt uses a lot of classical music inspiration such as Chopin and Rachmaninoff on his songs, every Muse's album we can find a lot of songs with that inspiration.
I was there in '07 & again in' 10, unbelievable live act! 👌🏻🔥
Me too 😊
Seen them live 4 times and Muse are Amazing. Crowdsurfed to this back in the day.
My favorite song 😁🎉
10/10 still one of my favorite reactions to this song (it's been reacted to a lot)
So talented , humble and funny. Love Them since the first album. Can't wait to see Them in Montreal in march !!!
Love his piano playing.
hermoso, por eso muse es la musa de las diosas del rock the warning. saludos
Pero a Matt le quedan los pants rojos 😏
Muse🌹❤️
I always love your Muse reactions! This live version is the best!
That falsetto at the end though.
Extreme moments
squeezed the bananas out of me too!
Wow.
I was at this gig, absolutely amazing
2:18 to 2:26 should be an textbook definition of "Head empty".🤣 My guy that's like asking, what if there where fish in a tsunami. That would be sad 😂
I was there! Magnificent!
Was there though had a few beers before the gig hence don't remember much of it 😩🍺🍺🍺
“Why are you making us thinking about the butterflies” 😂😂😂
So I was at this concert, and it was amazing.
I only know this song because of most wanted 2012
So hard to choose, but if I had to, this is my FAVORITE Muse song
8.02 - your faces = priceless :) welcome to the essence of Muse ;)
they look so young!!!
i'd love to know your view on why this song is called Flutterbies and Hurricanes.
x
Muse simplemente geniales
You guys are quality :-) You make a great double act - & you like Muse x
I was at that gig was amazing
React to The Globalist Glastonbury 2016 Muse. Buen video!!
As many Muse videos y’all have done, when are you gonna say it:
“Muse is the best band in the world right now.”
Watch the live versions of Space Dementia and Citizen Erased from their live DVD Hullabaloo to see some great piano playing.
From Wikipedia: “In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.”
So a butterfly flapping its wings can eventually cause a hurricane on the other side of the world.
This video remember me why i am a big fan of Muse. There is no band, no band which can be better than them.
Love you Rachmaninoff, love you MUSE
You should react to some songs from showbiz (especially sunburn, showbiz and cave). At the london astoria 2000 for cave, glastonbury 2000 for showbiz, idk about sunburn
On a side note have you seen the music video of their newest song? Great stuff
It's a great song. But you must see latest muse song. Kill or be killed.
It's epic.
I’d like to request Queen at Live Aid and Sean Lock Tiger Who Came For A Pint.
Nobody does it like MUSE
Also you really gotta check out Space Dementia by them!
They haven't been the same since Reading 2011 when tjey did OoS front to back
Now I'm fan of the Florida butterfly 🍹
Tbh Muse is one if a kind.
To be honest, this version is not a patch on the Glastonbury 2004 performance. Not a patch.
MUSE PHENOMENAL GÉNIE BRILLIANT MERCI À VOUS REACT LES ADORABLES 🇫🇷💖😍👏👍😘🎸🎤🎶🎼🎵
Next please react muse unnatural selection live version, really great
Good job ... this live in Wembley 2007 ??? it was the best of the best live about Muse SINCE 1999....
I'm a Metal Basist since very long time... BUT... how to dislike Muse ??? goddam... it's IMPOSSIBLE, right ?
Thx for react about this F... song
We salute all your Band from France...keep safe Guys !!!
Hey, just for remember when Mat Bellamy was you (14years old) he receive an award in Piano with Chopin 's recital, he buid "himself" his many Guitar in the beginning of Muse, and to finish... his a Fu.... vocalist, so one of the best artist in the world since 20 years !!!
To finish... a request ??? a great song with a final absolutely great in Guitar, that song is:
Muse - Blackout [Live From Wembley Stadium 2007]
He learnt the piano first.
Matt Bellamy can sing like Jeff Buckley, play guitar like Hendrix and piano like Rachmaninov.
Character on the right looks like a cast-off from a Ru Paul show! 😂🤣😂
Muse Plug In Baby.... but acoustic
Watching peoples reactions trying to understand what he's saying 😆😆😆
Please React to x japan guys
Thats why I muse r the best. What band can play a hard sounding song , then add a classical piano piece smack bang in the middle of the song. Pull it off every time. Ridiculous
?
ahora muse me da asco :/
Por que bro?
What chance would a butterfly have in a hurricane? That’s his point
Muse is one of my favourite bands, and this is my favourite song from them....but it always really disappoints me when reactors always do the live versions....the album versions sound sooo much better! I can never find anyone reacting to the studio versions of their songs.
