I went to UPIKE. To this day I tell this story. My teacher who left early congratulated the football team for such a strong win. We told him we lost and we were his 4pm class. He had told six other classes congratulations and no one had the heart to tell him.
WOW! Yeah, I was the Assistant Sports Information Director for Edward Waters at the time of this game and was there live. I’m now the head SID there and to this day, it’s still the greatest football game I’ve ever seen live!
