As a Spurs fan, this feels incredibly familiar. There were super similar sentiments around 2019/2020 for us, and it took us a couple of years for us to really tear-down and rebuild. I honestly dunno if we'd be in as good a spot if we had tanked immediately, but we also attempted the strategy of trying to fill the holes in our roster. I honestly dunno if it's actually viable for building a contender, but I did really enjoy watching those DeMar DeRozan/LaMarcus Aldridge led teams.
Dude those DeRozan/Aldridge Spurs teams were so sick. Peak Patty Mills too 😮💨 good times. But yeah I mean your guy’s rebuild was like best case scenario 😂 If the Kings were guaranteed a Wemby then I’d be all aboard the tank train! I also think the culture the Spurs have created from the top down lends itself to a positive rebuild, especially when compared to the Kings. I think we’ve obviously made good strides as an organization but the Spurs, in my opinion, are the class of the NBA. All that to say, I guess I’m still traumatized from our last “rebuild” lol
Simple fox doesn’t not pass. He passes as last option or bail out . He doesn’t hit shooters in rhythm. Sabonis is just small. I don’t know he is listed at 7’1 but plays like his 6’8. His the kings best player to me. DeRozan is not good fit for this team. Jonathan Isaac or drymond green would have been a way better fit. Mo Bamba or Brock lobaz would have been a better fit then. Kings need to trade for Dillon Brooks or tari Eason

Yeah I am 💯 percent agree rebuilding is not fun to watch.
And it takes forever. Like it takes like 5 years to rebuild
