    I learn a lot of things with your videos. I'm french and I'd like speak English fluently a day because I play a lot with English people but I don't understand what they say. Now I understand better but not all and it's still difficult for me to speak English.
    Thank you and keep going. 😃

    • @engvidAlex
      @engvidAlex  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sapron 4IK It's more commonly used in perfect continuous. "I've been wanting to see that movie!" or "She's been wanting to get in touch with you for a long time!"

    From the very beginning you say:
    "Yes I did a laundry, yes I had breakfast today.. "
    The question is why do you use "had" instead of "have had" + today? Cause if it's today and "today" is still lasting should not it be more correct to use present perfect tense instead of past simple?
    Thank you Alex. You are a very very very interesting teacher.

    Hi ! Great video. I still have some questions : When do we have to use the verb "got"? What's the difference between "got" and "Have"? Thanks

    • @engvidAlex
      @engvidAlex  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Al Lag That's a huge question and not one I can answer in a simple comment. One use for "get" is for it to mean "to acquire" or "to receive." Examples: "I got a new phone for my birthday." (receive) "I need to get a new job." (acquire)

    • @a13lexy
      @a13lexy 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I understand that's a huge question. Moreover, there are a lots of expressions with "got" like I got it. So it's very complicated for strangers to use it in a right way. Thank's for your clarification
