English Lessons with Alex (engVid AlexESLvid) It''s true, and very funny as well . I love your t-shirt. Seriously, thanks so much four your useful lessons. Best regards from Spain.
Hi. Alex. I'm a beginner. And present perfect is difficult for me, too. I love your explanation. I've learned a lot from you. Thanks and congratulations.
Profesor, su clase ha sido una de las mejores que he visto sobre éste tema. Estoy aprendiendo inglés y aprender éste tiempo verbal, no ha sido fácil su comprensión, pero Ud. Lo ha hecho claramente y ha explicado su uso en diferentes puntos. POR FAVOR PODRÍA USAR LETRA MÁS GRANDE.
What a beginning to the lesson? 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you are a wonderful teacher... I always watch your lessons and share with others... You are a perfect teacher...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hello Alex, I’m Hafiz from Bangladesh. This is first time to leaves you a comment. Your English teaching is very Awesome, Thanks for your help us to learn English nicely,
Hi, i really enjoyed this lesson. I really like to make screenshots of your lessons and use them on flashcards. Would you mind showing us the whole board for a split second in the future so that making screenshots is easier for us?
Alex, Hi! I liked so much your classes! Thanks a lot! I have watched your classes since I returned from my studies in Toronto, and you always explain very easy for understanding!
One of the best classes I've ever seen about present perfect. I usually see classes teaching the bases of the present perfect, but no one enhancing the use and presenting the most common use of them as you did. For me some phrases were comprehendible but not common as it should be, watching them increased my horizon of English. The phases “When has that ever happened?” and “When has that ever been true?” blew my mind, it confirmed what I expected from your videos. Sorry for the misspellings, Roberto from São Paulo, Brazil.
No misspellings detected! Thanks for the feedback. The whole point of this lesson was to give real language that you can use in your daily conversations. It's important to know grammatical structure, so I do those types of lessons as well, but it's equally important to just SEE some practical sentences with the structure. Thanks for the feedback!
The EngVideo has the best teacher ever :D I don't know choose between James and Alex because the both are so awesome and I learn so much in a easy way haha
Hello! Thanks a million! All your videos are extremely useful. In addition to this, the most amazing thing about your English is that I can understand almost everything despite the fact that I've been learning English for about 9 months. Thanks indeed! Go on please!
You are my personal inspiration as a Brazilian ESL teacher. Thank you so much for your awesome lessons. By the way, your shirt is perfect! *-* Nerd detected.
Thank you for the super kind feedback! And this is pretty much my favourite t-shirt. :) I try not to hide my fandoms...video games, sci-fi/fantasy books and movies, and anime.

Hi Alex!)) Amazing video as always!! Thanks a lot!) I have a question... If I want to find out about other human has eaten or not, how can I ask: have you eaten or did you eat? Thanks in advance :)
If you'd like to invite them to eat (usually for breakfast or lunch), the more common question is "Have you eaten?" These are also common: "Have you eaten yet?" "Have you already eaten?" "Did you eat yet?" and "Did you already eat?" are also fine and acceptable.
I was told that the present perfect was rare in American English, and that the past simple is preferred. Is this true? Nice videos, thanks! (I'm from the UK)
