To answer your question, Nigeria speaks British English, because the country was colonized by Britain. But definitely not with British accent, because the system of colonization used was Indirect Rule, not the French Assimilation rule used in countries like Mali. So, we still speak over 250 languages and dialects, English is just seen as the formal language.

They do eat dog though and do have sanitary issues although it’s not as common as we think . It’s usually in the wet markets .
My friend who has been there says that in some places they do serve dog meat but it’s not everywhere .
