  • Hoyoverse does a great job at describing a character through images, tone of voice, and little psychological cues.
The misleading "last 10 seconds" Mina Aoyama talks about in her recent tweet in fact hide something beautiful.
Or, at least, this is my take on the subject, as someone who were taught a bit of psychology for work!
Let me know your opinion in the comments, and let's talk about the character's design!
Mina, sleep well: Firefly is safe, as one of the best designed characters :)

I saw one person complaining about that part of the trailer and didnt think many actually had a problem with it, but of course theres drama now. I think, as you explained, its not for 'waifu material' but a part of her charakter, and even if it was, hoyo makes money by creating charakters (including waifus) so you cant fault them for it.

Yeah, I find it’s really part of her character, and highlights her strength. Hoyoverse tries to make deep characters and adds contrasting features. For instance, Jing Yuan is a very determined general (see: “Tell the Legion, that the vengeance the Hunt will fall upon them.”) that still looks unassuming and relaxed - as the light cone describes. A good character has internal contrast, and that is what makes a story!
      Happy we agree! ;P
