Jane talks about the new Mental Health and Cognitive Impairment Forensic Provisions Act 2020 (NSW) which commenced in March 2021, the new definitions and diversionary provisions (previously called sections 32 and 33 orders) and how youth and community workers can help their clients with mental health or cognitive impairment in the criminal justice system.
