Gordon's psychology is really sound; he doesn't harbour grudges, or stick to one type of behaviour out of laziness. He sticks up for everyone, no matter their status, as long as they are sincerely trying to get it right.

Well, he is the emergency assistant guy so he isn't called in if everything is well. However you can have delicious food and still fail as a restaurant due to other reasons.

Well yeah, when tasting dishes, chefs take one or two bites and thats all. Him cleaning the plate is a testament to how good it is. That whole episode was great. Everyone was happy to listen and learn, and they made huge progress. It helps when the food is actually really good to start with.

I respect people like Gordon Ramsay because they help you grow as people. However, in SouthEast Asia they need to have some people like Gordon Ramsay. Saving face isn't something that should be tolerated.
Gordon's psychology is really sound; he doesn't harbour grudges, or stick to one type of behaviour out of laziness. Even if someone has been an arsehole, if they start getting it right, he will show them respect and compliment them. He also recognises bullshitters, be they the staff or the bosses. He sticks up for everyone, no matter their status, as long as they are sincerely trying to get it right.
