Can you tell me where you purchased the bulk of the parts? I have the '09 G8 GT and am having trouble finding the cam and delete plate, etc. Best video I've seen for this upgrade.
@@The1st60ft curious if you had to pull your trans back a bit to reach the rear oil pan bolts, trying to get to my pickup tube and that driver rear bolt seems to be sunk into the bellhousing just enough that i cant get a socket on it
I hear ya there! Same issue with this one before. They really benefit from gears as well, those 2.92s make the car a slug. We grabbed a 3.27 diff from a V6 Camaro (cheap$$) and we're gonna see the improvements

This is will be my first cam swap, how do you ensure that you’re not out of timing when you reinstall?
You just have to line up the timing marks on the cam gear to crank gear. Cam gear at 6 o clock and crank gear at 12 o clock. Pretty simple!

@@The1st60ft yeah gears are great. I got some 3.45’s and my car is faster but it still doesn’t want to spin. It’s weird.
