This video features the same Japanese actor, as "Ratatata" and also has a cameo of Kalle Koschinski - who is the chef in this video, who is also dancer in "Hypa Hypa" and additional rapper in "Castrop X Spandau".

Yes, there is an "MC Thunder 1". Really good song - you should check it out. If you do - turn the subtitles on for this one!!! It's fully in English, but things in harsh vocals are hard to understand sometimes and the lyrics are hilarious and worth picking up.

There are two videos explaining their name change on ECs channel. If you want to know it in detail and with the bands own words, you should watch them. But basically it was due to the term "Eskimo". Which is generally considered to be an entirely innocent word in Germany. The band wanted a rediculous, absurd and meaningless name a long time ago, so they picked this. But this term is also considered offensive by some indigenous people. Something the band found out, when they expanded to North America. Especially Canada. They had to face challenges, hate and problems, due to this name choice. Other bands refused to be in the same line up with Eskimo Callboy or even accepting to put their band sticker next to theirs. One label even attacked them, when they wrote a request to them, threatening to ban them from everything connected to them, if they ever contact them again. This term wasn't anything essential to the band, nor did it mean anything, so they decided to change the name. They didn't want to offend anyone, they didn't want to be misjudged due to this name and they wanted to clear this issue in North America for good. So they replaced it with "Electric".

Yes but when you ask indigenous people, not a single one is offended. Its just this new woke bloodless community .....

there is actully them to talk with professor in Danish university (everybody knows that Greenland is under Denmark or used to be) and it is complicated but in the end of that discussion yes they should change that. Nothing in this world is black and white but eskimo isn't what those native tribes use. Probs to EC to take it seriously.

EC likes to recycle his actors, that is same Japanese actor, Yusuke Yamasaki, as in Ratatata. The name change came up when they got the opportunity to expand to Northamerica after the first success with Nico. According to them, some bands did not want to be on the same stage as "Eskimo Callboy" because of the name. To get a foot in the door is hard for Eurpean bands in Northamerica, so they decided to change the name. They said maybe in Europe the name were a lesser problem, but not in Northamerica it is. Sounds to me as a reasonable business decision.
And the name "Eskimo Callboy" was not meant to be offensive in the first place. There is a bunch of interviews in their early days that the name was the intent to came up with dumbest band name possible and "Eskimo Callboy" was the result.
