Watching you butcher that 7 ate 9 joke once was funny. Watching you try to correct it only to butcher it again was a beautiful disaster. 6 was afraid of 7, NL. 9 was the one who got eaten lol
While I can see his vision for after image in the second run, tough bandages already had him covered on that front with calculated gamble. Wraith form is just flat out one of the best cards in the game, and it doesnt effect the block from tough bandages, and doesn't encourage him to pivot towards thickening his deck like afterimage does. I mean the silent only has three builds really. Discard, shiv, and poison. Sometimes you can get a good relic that will enable creative card combos, but he already said he actively avoids poison 😭
it is funny because he mentions that he basically only went for poison before and how it clouded his card evaluation, and now he is only going for discard and it is clouding his card evaluation lmao
If anything else, a shiv deck relies on both powers (accuracy + after image/a thousand cuts) and using a lot of cards on one turn, something two of the three bosses in act 3 counter. This is something I 've learned the hard way while being stuck on A20 with the silent lol
@@scorchinglizard A good shiv build beats timekeeper pretty easily. Getting stuck on 11 on timekeeper is what ends your run, hitting 12 each round is good if your shivs are doing like 18 damage each.
Like alchemize, for instance. He doesn't understand that what makes it a good card is saving the gained potion for a later time to play at the perfect moment. If you're having to use the potion reactively the moment you play alchemize, it's actually a really bad card.
