Im a lash tech and i honestly cringed as i clicked expecting a disaster! im so surprised, great advice! the only advice i have is to switch up the area you place the fans so they can dry and avoid them sticking together. seriously though, great idea for this time stuck at home to keep you going.
How do you recommend removing them? I have used this glue twice before and had horrible experiences trying to removing them with anything like oils, steam, and even the Wardell remover. They just stick really well to my lashes (not my skin) even after 2ish weeks!
no hun. It's not a matter of the glue accidentally getting in your eyes. it's the fumes that give a chemical burn as well. for the love of god DO NOT use a professional glue. Unless you want to permenantely damage your eyes, reduce your vision that you can never get back because eye transplants aren't a thing, then go for it, permemant loss of vision is so worth 4 weeks of lashes then 2 weeks. :)
Im a professional lash artist liscensed and everything i thought i was going to hate this video but you are actually really informed! my only critique is using .05 for volume instead of .07, .07 should only have about two fans for proper weight where as .05 can have up to 4-6, .05 is just lighter on the lashes
Thank you so much for giving the warning about professional lash glue, I haven’t seen anyone else mention that in their video. I was wondering why everyone keeps saying they’ll only last a week or two, and I was thinking like why not just use a stronger glue lol? Now I know! Thank you 🥰🙌🏾
My lash tech heart got so relieved when I read the comments by other lash techs and heard your well informed explanation💕 I got so scared when this showed up in my recommendations haha
I’ve only had my lashes done once and the tech ran out the room choking from the glue fumes she was knocking everything over to go out and get some air and I’m sitting there with my eyes taped like 😨😨😨😨
Omg that’s awful. I had a ‘lash tech’, who was actually just a girl who was in cosmo school and bought a couple packs of ardell fans, make my eyes a crusty mess. It was awful. It actually hurt to blink.
SO I live in a small town where there are few quality lash techs, and even the bad ones charge A LOT.. I'm talking starting at $180 for a new set of classics and I'm just not in a place where that cost makes sense to me! On top of that, I love a strip lash look and the few times I've wanted lash extensions has been for a trip or event, so something like this is PERFECT for me! I can't wait to order some stuff and give it a try!
So beautiful . Would love to try as no side effects & 2 weeks is good wear & the one can give a week break . Best part is that natural lashes aren't damaged 💃 Trying to grow lashes naturally yet this is an good addition. Thank you so much especially for safety 😘😍
Such a well shot, clear and informative video and I love how natural your lashes look! Thanks for the info on the glue because I never would have guessed that the professional grade glue could be that harmful. Hope you're keeping safe 💛
what do you do when they start to fall off and look weird? can you remove them once a couple start to fall off or do you just have to wait for the others to fall off? :)
I personally would just remove the ones that are about to fall off but if it turns out weird looking I can just stick it back on with the glue but once in a while I would take all of it off and let my eyes rest for a day or two before putting a new set of eyelash extensions. Hope it helps!
this did turn out good! Im certified and If you do it wrong your eyelash can fall out I've seen it happen. I would recommend trying pre made knotless clusters from Arielle with the glue. It so much easier, takes less time, less then $10, with the same results 👍🏾
This was very helpful!! I just got the Amazon eyelash individuals and decided I need to make sure I do it right. Professional eyelash extensions are expensive
Don’t do this often with that lash glue, even if it doesn’t have harsh fumes it will stick to your real lashes just as good as the professional glue and rip out your real lash if you pull on it. It will still make your real lashes fall out just as extensions will! Lasts about 1-2 weeks MAX. I would reapply in 2 weeks. Give your natural lashes a break. I have been using this method for 4 years now so you can trust me.
Yes of course you should not pull on your lashes, with or without extensions haha. These lashes begin falling off about 2 days after application and you will be lucky to get a full 2 weeks of wear without too many gaps. A break is always wise whether you wear these extensions or get them professionally done.
Bronwyn Papineau your lashes grow constantly . Within hours you will feel pain from the lashes trying to grow up it will be tugging on the glue. So yes it will ruin and rip out natural lashes
Everytime I’ve used this glue and other similar methods with this glue it doesn’t last more than a day. I could take them off so easily with no remover or anything. Is there another better long lasting glue safe to use at home?
@@x-starlight-x no I didn't..I just take care of my lashes and only use the temporary fake ones for photo shoots or special events .. When I heat my curling iron they look nice and long
She said that’s only in the case for professional glue. If you use regular glue safe for DIY you won’t put your eyes at risk. Just don’t use professional glue
Great video! I would have loved to see more of you placing the lashes on the eyes. Would have just loved to see you work through the technique you explained.
You did such an beautiful job. I mean I am amazed! Thanks so much for providing a lash map.i really would like to recreate that look as closely as possible. Everyone else on yt’s final product is not as impactful as what you’ve done. I think that’s the benefit of properly utilizing the short and medium lengths. I see a lot of people only focusing on the longest extensions and they don’t get a result as cohesive as what you’ve created! Well done!
Hi this looks really great and bought the same stuff you recommend :) ! I had a couple of questions though: - How do I get rid of the glue residue on the I've accidently smeared eyelid that is white when dried? - How do you control the direction of the lashes? I've had a go and they're all pointing in different directions :(
Wow thank u for the info & advice. I was about to purchase glesum glue for prof to do it on my own individual lashes. Just thought i could try it with open eyes, the qualities are good fast drying & last longer & it doesn´t turn white & hard. I´m using ardell loctite adhesive now but the black clump it turn white not dry fast enough. Beautifully done wow.
black castor oil update from brow observation, the hairs are growing thicker but theres new hairs at the middle, not like monobrow aka my brows just kinda far apart and there new hair closer to the middle territory
fun fact bc i got a stye recently and its gone now, so if the glue clogs your lash root, it can cause an infect aka acne on the lash line which is a stye, from clogging the poor and sufficating it. its not happy and games when its off the poor bc the oil couldve slightly solidified like a white head, so your eye will be itchy lacking moisture from the oil and the stye would just be exposed to air which is kinda bad
The lashes look incredible!!! I know you mentioned that the glue you used in the video did not last very long; how long did the linked glue last for you if you tried it?
Is it true if you don’t isolate and when the lashes grow out it can damage your lashes? You don’t isolate it will grow and multi lashes can fall with the lashes.
The 0.07 is not the weight, it’s the thickness of the lash. Everyone’s lashes are different in thickness, so the diameter of the lashes vary. If your natural lash is very fine (0.03-0.07) you don’t want to use a .12 or higher because it’s thicker and heavier, and can cause lash loss semi and permanent.
And for the record, ANY lashes glued to multiple lashes can and WILL affect your lashes. You lose 3-5 lashes EVERY DAY per eye, and every lash grows at a different rate, so if one is ready to shed, but it’s glued to multiple lashes, no matter how temporary the glue is, it can rip the others out. It’s GLUE!
Bronwyn!! I'd give you 2 thumbs up if I could. As a Lash artist(10yrs+)if I may say this is the best video for DIY lash application. Thank you for taking the time to create and post especially during these times I hope it helps clients. Very well done!👍💕👍💯 nailed it!

As a lash tech I was wondering how you were able to isolate each individual lash? If you didn't then be careful as it can be very damaging to your natural lashes if you've glued several of your own lashes together.. you done quite an amazing job, I only wish I could do my own!
That lash glue the Ardell one is very very strong!!! Pls guys dont use that! I used it too before I loved it because its really strong. You have to buy a professional glue remover otherwise your lashes wont come off...I lost many of my own eyelashes back then from this glue, and I stopped using it, even if with a remover they just fall out:(( Anyway the glue in the description is different then what you use... Its not the same. I love Ardell lashes, but this LashTite glue is absolutely disaster, they are like a professional glue. So it took me months to grow back my own lashes and never used this glue...
How do u apply these to each one of ur lashes without separating them? Im shocked. Lash glue don’t dry fast enough so it can easily stick to their neighborhood lash
I had issues with the salons doing my eyelash extensions. I’d have reactions to the glue and it would dry out my eyelids and swell one eye. I went to multiple places and it would happen. I wonder if it was the glue? Curious if this glue will be better for me bc it’s not professional and intense. I’ve rested my eyes and have been using Rodan & Fields to help grow my natural lashes back out. On the glue issue - Thoughts?
Hey, just wondering if there’s a process for removing these or do they just eventually fall out? If there’s a process, would you consider doing a video on that. It would be very helpful. Thanks! 😬
I tried this but the glues I bought seemed to never stick or dry, I’ve tried about 3 different glues and brands and can’t get it to work, any recommendations? Maybe I’m doing something wrong because that’s odd

What’s a safe beginner black glue
“i hate it, let’s start over” LOL
Wow 👏👏👏looks natural/ nice 👍
So with this glue are you allowed to put the lashes on more than one lash or do you have to do every individual one ?
How do u apply these to each one of ur lashes without separating them? Im shocked. Lash glue don’t dry fast enough so it can easily stick to their neighborhood lash
You have a beautiful lashes already that’s why it looks great
I really like the result and I think it's a nice thing to try at home😍
Can somebody tell me if I can use just normal individual lashes for lash extensions and can I keep it for like weeks till they come off on their own?
I had issues with the salons doing my eyelash extensions. I’d have reactions to the glue and it would dry out my eyelids and swell one eye. I went to multiple places and it would happen. I wonder if it was the glue? Curious if this glue will be better for me bc it’s not professional and intense. I’ve rested my eyes and have been using Rodan & Fields to help grow my natural lashes back out.
On the glue issue - Thoughts?
when you say "2D. 3D.4D" does that mean the amount of strands of lashes in each fan?
They turned out very beautiful. To be it looks like a professional dud them 🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you girlie!
Hey, just wondering if there’s a process for removing these or do they just eventually fall out? If there’s a process, would you consider doing a video on that. It would be very helpful. Thanks! 😬
they came out so nice! there's no way I'd ever be able to do that myself.
I tried this but the glues I bought seemed to never stick or dry, I’ve tried about 3 different glues and brands and can’t get it to work, any recommendations? Maybe I’m doing something wrong because that’s odd
