Thank you so much!!!! Every video is so valuable, I hope I have always access to this amazing tool which honestly is worth of having not only for the boards but along any dentist professional career to be able to go back to this as many times as needed. Thank you! I hope all the good you have done to help many many dentists returns to you and to all of those who have been part of this creation multiplied!
Hey Ryan, you mentioned in a earlier video about veneers being placed on enamel, the veneer resin cement though has a good bonding with dentine, like you wrote in this video? Should not resin bind to both enamel and dentine?
Sorry for my ignorance but what is the importance of knowing the solubility of a cement, is it becase the more soluble is, the less strength it has? or they are not related
Your videos are really great and easy to understand. The only thing which confused me was the chemical bonding of Resins to tooth structure. Are Resins chemically bonded to tooth structure or through a micro mechanical bond? Thank you Ryan for being such a marvelous mentor.
Very informative... Can u provide study material for basic sciences like physiology and biochemistry as in ADAT exam it's coming separate exam of basic sciences
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I offer basic science content through live lectures that I offer on my website (Biochemistry, Biostatistics, and Pathology were taught last year and will likely be offered again in the future). You can register for the next one here: www.mentaldental.com/services
Instead of cementing the zirconia crown to zirconia abutment ( after zirconia implant), with Rely X luting cement, can the prosthodontist use carbon fiber screw? Thank you.
during cementation of a veneer , should bond be light cured before applying resin or not ? also if i'm using universal bond as silane coupling agent , should it be lightcured ?
Which is better for the posterior screw retained dental crowns noble metal or high noble metal. I have noble metal which lacks the yellow gold color is has a dark copper tone
Most Zinc-oxide cements are not suitable for permanent cementation of crowns , is it because of high solubility in the saliva , what about the viscosity of of Zinc is it high or low ? Thank you

How 's about cement for all-ceramic crown?
GI ? 5:30 ( All-Ceramic cannnot use with RMGI)
Thanks man, you're a huge help for all of us. Whats the next topic in dentistry? Maybe implants?
Hey Ryan, you mentioned in a earlier video about veneers being placed on enamel, the veneer resin cement though has a good bonding with dentine, like you wrote in this video? Should not resin bind to both enamel and dentine?
Quick question. Would a PFZ crown be categorized with zirconia since that’s the inner surface that contacts the tooth similar to the metal in PFM?
perfect

Marginal leakage, loss of cement substance to saliva etc
Thanks alot )))

Composite resin bonds to tooth structure primarily by micromechanical retention!
@@mentaldental So just to be clear, with resin cements the bond to tooth structure is micromechanical, but the bond to porcelain is chemical?
I got confused here too. Tanks that you asked this question!
Why can we use rmGIC in Zirconia crown but not for emax or veneers? Thank you !
What is R and R form in last slide

May I know which books you usually use for making this video??

Thank you but what about cementing Veneers made of Zirconia?
during cementation of a veneer , should bond be light cured before applying resin or not ?

Which is best for cementing adhesive bridge?can I use GIC or resin cement?
Resin cement is probably the best option. You can look up the 3M cement selection guide which is a helpful resource!
