    I just hope this level of swing weight fitting is going to be encouraged by pros and fitters. So many cowboy “fitters” out there dont even know what swing weight is. I have always found TM drivers to be too heavy in swing weight, and i have a big right tendency with them. Wonder if its going to be as accessible as you say to bring the swing weight down

    Trottie!! Love the stuff, thank you!! Quick question on the weight track on the Stealth Plus. I know its designed to help ball flight, but I have also heard people putting it behind where they hit the ball. For example I typically hit it in the center to slightly toe side. How do you guys use the sliding weight to fit the guys on tour?

    • @trottiegolf
      @trottiegolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      TaylorMade did an R&D test ages ago about tour PLYR's & how they locate the CG. This then followed up with the realization that some PLYR's do what you're talking about. Bottom line if you align the CG of the ball with the mass of the head then you're going to get the most speed. So in short, I don't hate where you're going with this

    Very informative sir. Not sure the profile but, I put a GD Tour AD IZ Shaft in my Stealth and started bombing it over the Stock Adilia Ascent shaft. Should most of us be looking at CB shafts and adding weight? What about some who use heavier mid sized and jumbo grips? Should we be looking to add weight as well? Thanks

    • @trottiegolf
      @trottiegolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A midsize or a jumbo will impact swing weight a touch so does allow you to add weight. Not everyone will get on with CB shafts, it’s not a “one size fits all” type deal but it’s worth checking them out for sure

    Awesome TROTTIE 🙌🙌. Keeping it simple stupid (K.I.S.S.)
    I had a similar situation at my custom fit last May at 2ndSwing Golf at their Delaware location. Went in with my 2016 M2 head and a counter balanced shaft was the ticket for me
    Hzdrs Smoke Yellow 5.5 (counterbalanced) at 45 inches was ideal. Got a couple of 1.50 smash factors
    Went back in September and tried Ventus Velocore shafts blue and red in combination w a SIM 2 max head. Spin rates were 3-4000 rpm’s
    My fitter grabbed a Small Batch Evenflow Riptide CB and boom 💥 5 more carry yards compared to Hzdrs Smoke Yellow
    Counterbalanced shaft was the ticket 🎟 for me with my 2016 M2 playing at D4 with an 8 gram head weight with WINN Dri-Tech LT midsize grip. Backspin 2000-2200 rpm, AOA +2 to +4 up. 10.5 deg head turned down 1 click to 9.75 deg.
    STEALTH is an amazing driver with this CARBON face, looking forward to getting custom fit for it and see what the numbers are compared to my 2016 M2!

    I didn’t quite get what you said about counter weight shaft? I hope I can use either of my shafts from my SIM driver (either GD Tour VR or IX) and I can’t wait to put the Stealth in my bag! Also wonder if those TPS weights for the heads ever are going to make their way here. Worst case I’ll have to hope TM will have the tour truck at the Scandinavian Mixed this summer. Is Mark still working on tour in EU?

    Not surprising that Taylormade's top equipment guy swings a telephone pole for a driver.

    After playing taylormade for 14 years EXCLUSIVELY...13 clubs in the bag by TM for 14 years, over 20,000$ spent with TM... my 2017 m1 cracked during a tournament(my first ever problem), contacted you guys to get it resolved and you all basically told me to kick rocks so I did and now don't have a single TM club in my bag... ping woods, srixon irons, Cleveland wedges, scotty putter...I STILL THINK TAYLORMADE MAKES THE BEST ON EARTH BUT AFTER BEING TREATED THAT WAY AFTER 14 YEARS OF LOYALTY..NAH THIS +3 IS OUT... my dream was to be sponsored by taylormade and literally play your clubs until I die... IF NOT FOR THE WAY I WAS TREATED I WOULD BE PLAYING ALL STEALTH, P7TW IRONS, MG3 WEDGES but shooting 67 at Pinehurst I guess my bag is fine... still wish that had never happened because I truly loved taylormade

    Surprised you’re playing 46” for a shorter guy.

      Distance optimization. I've since backed it off back to 45.75" (I think), 46" is a lot for anyone, I think if you swing it well then the height doesn't matter. Woosnam is 45.75" EOG and he's a smaller fella
