It also set the mood so nicely for the whole stream. The games basically didn't matter - two and a half hours of two guys just playing a game they both enjoy, in a format custom made for Adam to jive with, and the wonderful banter made it all worth it. The games were great, but this was something special.

The effort Wheeler did to make something so thoughtful for his buddy, and the banter is just very nostalgically in the way you talk about silly stuff with your old buddy while playing magic on the side. This really pushed me to make a lil cube to play with my friends when covid rightfully Fs off. Thank you a lot for this video.

I think a variant I'm gonna try next time I do a two-player draft is instead of the after-draft swap a card thing, just allow each player to pick 5 cards from the pile their opponent discarded. That brings you up to the 45 cards you usually draft, and those are cards you've only had a shot at once but your opponent passed twice. Also can we just get Adam and Wheeler's fantastic magic friday brostravaganza every week please? I need more of these two interacting in my life.
