Every month when I got paid, too much money was going on the car to get it on the road and it was causing tension at home. When I had the car mapped, hot start had not been done. On the very long journey home from mapping, we stopped at a services and the car would not start. That was pretty much the start of the end. I realised at that point, it was on the road but nowhere near full completion and she had to go. Happy to say the car is now producing good figures for the new owner :-)
Few reasons, one being I bought this engine already rebuilt with forged pistons, eagle rods etc. Any Pulsar engine would need a full rebuild, all thrashed. This setup was specced out for 350 and has recently been dynoed at 297 with improvements being made all the time so I think the doors are safe :-)
Hi and thanks, the price to modify is always high! The price for all of those parts runs into thousands of pounds, luckily I had a great result with the labour and fabrication otherwise it would have gone out of my reach too easily.
Please vote for this car in the Total Nissan Idol competion, link is in the video details just above, it is car number ten. You can see how it looks in its latest incarnation there also :-)
Hi, a project like this costs a lot of money to put together, make sure the parts you buy are all going to hook up before you go spending. Drop into the owners club (npoc) to discuss your plans in detail :-)

Hey guys, please vote for this car in Total Nissan Idol, it is car number ten. You will see it is looking very different these days! The car is currently just going to qualify for the next round so all votes are crucial, thanks so much :-)

Great work!
Good luck, sounds like a great project and yes, it does cost a fortune!
I'm sure a video of this car will turn up in the near future ;-)
Song is Dream On by Aerosmith :-)
I never had the car finished to the point of getting her on the dyno but she was specced for 350bhp. I couldn't say though where she was at.

@truwel00 The ECU is the standard one, a company called Horsham Developments can map the standard one now, it's all good :-)
@Answersization I haven't had this car for a while now, currently drive a Mazda 6 MPS.
@wammes87 The battery was relocated to the boot :-)

Never been interested in the Subarus, though I did buy a Volvo S40 T4, there is a lot to be said for stable 'meant to be there' boost!! :-)
@seifenimporteur The track is called Dream on, by Aerosmith :)

If P11 didn't exist, then yep! ;-)
Thousands of quids! Try to buy a project from someone who starts and can't finish, buying parts brand new costs an absolute bomb, good luck :-)

Is the same that saying that car is a Toyota......
