37 different arabic qurans You liars don’t really get the point. He was referencing how the modern qur’an is exactly the same as the 1st century qur’an manuscripts. Yes, the first few pages are missing in that manuscript but that does not disprove the authenticity of al fatiha and few verses of baqarah. What about the other manuscripts? And that is why we have the oral tradition of memorizing the qur’an so it can complement the written text and vice versa.

If The Quran has not been preserved and has been changed over the years, then the eloquence, the divinity and deep meaning of the Quran etc. would not remain.

@@Anonymous-sq6eo hmm... No it hasn't. Compare the deep meaning inside Shakespeare's poetry and the Quran. Compare the length of commentary on both, just on one or two verses. Let's take this one video out of the many:
      th-cam.com/video/Njuq145ESzk/w-d-xo.html
2 hours to explain the deep meaning.
Furthermore, the extent to which you are right, however, is limited and does not threaten the miracle of the Quran. While Shakespeare and Dickens can never be matched "at their own game" in terms of surpassing them in their own literary style, the fact is that Shakespeare and Dickens did not accurately and adequately explain the deepest mysteries of metaphysics and ethics while simultaneously maintaining the highest standard of literary excellence. Here the analogy breaks down, so I really don't think this takes anything away from the Quaranic miracle.

      Psalm 1
      1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither-
      whatever they do prospers.
      4 Not so the wicked!
      They are like chaff
      that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

So in laymen terms Yasir Qadhi was not talking from a foundational perspective regarding the preservation of the Quran
(i.e the physical copy ) nor disputing the fact that the variant readings were indeed divinely revealed by Allah but just talking about already known open questions regarding branch topics which have no bearing on the preserved physical copy and it's consonantal skeleton
(basically the letters without diacritical marks) whatsoever, namely what is the exact relation between the Qira'at and the Ahruf ?

    • @kakalam6004

yes. The original quran does not have vowel marks fathah, dummah, kasrah of any form or Shaddah and madd for the length stretches in qiraat to prolong the vowels.
Honestly I don't find this all that confusing, its like people from various countries pronounce "potato" differently. But since this is ancient Arabic which is highly nuanced language and certain pronunciations can change meaning more caution is required.

Yassir qhadi was talking about how the quran is the unadultrated word of God if what we have today would have been a result of peoples regional arabic who pronounce things differently. Yassir qhadi therefor is insinuating that thr quran is preserved only in meaning and dilectically (damma, kassra) as these were later introduced. His calim is not regarding the relationship between haruf and qiraat st all. Im afraid that if yassir qhadi explaind hos position( i.e. why he belives quran is only preseved in meaning) he will not only misguide missionaries but also muslims.

This copy of Quran dates to the time of companions of the Prophet (SAW), which means that a companion of the prophet would most likely have written it. Not only that, but the text of this copy is exacly the same as the present Quran.

Assalamu'alaykum Brother Adnan, you have done a wonderful job in defending the religion. May Allah bless you. What I would have put more emphasis on is why the burning performed by 'Uthman does not prove the Qur'an is corrupted:
*Why the burning of the Qur'ans by Uthman does not prove the Qur'an is corrupted:*
The very first text of the Qur'an was compiled during the caliphate of Abu Bakr shortly after the death of prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him). A very systematic process was taken to ensure that this text is exactly the same as the one that prophet Muhammad recited vocally. The companions of the prophet were certain that this text was made of the materials on which the verses of the Qur'an were written in the presence of the prophet. Also, they were able to recall moments in the past when the prophet vocally recited those same verses. Also, the scribe Zaid ibn Thabit would recite those verses in the presence of the prophet after writing them down on those materials, so that any mistakes can be immediately corrected by the prophet. Therefore, we have no doubt that the first compiled text of the Qur'an is accurate and without errors since it is composed of those materials. Now, if this is the very same text that the Caliph Uthman used for replicating new copies of the Qur'an after the burning that took place, how can you say that his new copies were corrupted?

    Dear Rashid,
Thanks for the video, you have clarified certain topics for me in the past so hopefully i can get some clarity on this topic as well.
Is pre uthmani Variations/Ahruf lost after the burning or discarding ?
The 40/41 opinions held by islamic scholars- are these opinions on what the variations are present day in the Quran we have now or is it the very nature of what the Ahruf is ? what the Ahruf constitutes itself ? Can the scholars pinpoint in the quran that this is part of the Ahruf variation ? Is this that what the whole debate/opinion over ?
What troubles me is that if it is indeed 7 dialect for different tribes who spoke differently then why would umar ibn al khattab and Hishaam ibn Hakeem recite surah furqan differently ? Both of them were from Quraysh and Quraysh had only one dialect. If the difference in ahruf (styles/modes) had been a difference in dialects, why would two men of Quraysh have been different?
    Supplement questions
Don’t all the 10 Qi’raat come from 1 Ahruf that Uthman standardised ?
That 1 ahruf that uthman chose does it allow for some of the 7 Ahruf’s to be read from within it ?
I’ve watched hijab/yasir and now watched your 2 1/2 hour video and both seem to use qi’rat and Ahraf interchangeably at some points.
I hope you can answer some of these questions and provide clarity to help us all that have similar confusion.

The book you recommended seems to be out of stock, i have googled it and wasn’t able to find a copy available.
When i watch your lectures i gain a lot of knowledge but at the same time it raises questions when i feel something’s missing or there could have been a bit more clarity, regarding the Ahruf and qi’raat there is so much conflation between these two. The mix-of these 2 elements is widespread on youtube.
If you have time could you tackle the questions i have asked so i can get a comprehensive understanding. If you can’t dedicate a bit of time could you bare minimum solve at least:

@@garyatkins3758 hi Gary, some good questions. I dont think this is a difficult question unless I'm missunderstanding here. The reason i say that is because this event has been fulky documented and the prophet himself responded to it. Hisham ra was clearly reading one of the ahruf (weather it was because he was from a different tribe or not does not matter). We know this because when Umar ra went to the prophet and he asked them both to recite it, he affirmed both and said to them both (regardless of what tribe they were in) ' Recite whatever you find easy'. I.e. whatever they had learnt. Hisham may have heard a different version first which he committed to memory (i.e. he found this easier). I hope that makes sense

The ambiguity left by YQ during the interview is just unacceptable considering his level. He should clarify the issues he stumbled during the interview. First the Yazuz-Majuj theory, now on Quran preservation, you cannot just mess up with classical view, while you do not have any reasonable "Modern" explanation either. With all due respect, I also don't understand why YQ is so obsessed with what western secular scholars are thinking and it seems YQ is trying to align the islamic matters in a way that will be less criticized by them. After watching him for so many years, it is just frustrating.

He had a previous interview with Mohammed Hijab where he clarified his stance on Yajuj and Majuj. I don't necessarily agree with him on his stance, but I wouldn't call him a deviant in this respect (not saying that you're calling him a deviant).
As for his ambiguity, I think he simply didn't want to give a short answer. Even Ustad Adnan took 2 hours and 30 min to fully explain everything on the issue.
The reason this became a controversy in the first place was due to another brother who you probably know leaking a private email, so there might be more to the issue.

@Atlantic Antiques I am not sure what are you talking about provided that i am in academia for more than 10 yrs with a PhD. Do your research first, instead of quoting here and there without context and proper explanation. Are you aware about the responses given by our scholars regarding your above points? Islamic scholars never shy away from these topics as brother Adnan mentioned. Don't stress on what Western "scholars" say about islam, they always pick from here and there without any context and what our scholars have commented on those. Any islamic study that does not fit with their narrative, they consider as unreliable. Our scholars have done extensive work to show how Quran was preserved, and they dealt with each of the points you have mentioned above. Just do a proper research (I have done mine). Classical Islamic scholars never had doubt on the preservation of the Quran. Yes, they differed on how the later readings relate to the Ahroof. By the way, for some, even one presents a mountain of evidence, they will be still be in denial and doubts.

After a recent interview with Br. Muhammad Hijab, some missionaries and anti-Muslim propagandists have read their own prejudices into our very brief discussion. Some of them have twisted my words to suit their agenda. While Muslim scholarship has pioneered Quranic studies for centuries and continues to do so, the fact remains that we all agree on the demonstrably proven fact that the Quran has been preserved in its entirety, word for word, and that we believe that all of the ten recitations (qira'āt) of the Quran are revealed from Allah. To see such Islamophobes try to read in an argument that no one amongst us ever made in order to prove their incorrect narrative is only demonstrating the unethical tactics they resort to.
Here is a beautiful example of this from a post from a few years ago:

Where that specific copy was “99%” with al Fatihah, the first chapter and the beginning of the second chapter, Baqarah. Bismillah. ... ..
We all know the Quran is Divinely Protected as befitting ALLAH's Majesty.
Hence the Sunnah is protected in many means by ALLAH's Permission such as via the Orthadox 4 Sunni Madhahib, Mujaddids over a time of a millenium, ijma, orally preservation which is still practise till today by pious Ulama e Haq, while also within our Sacred Literary such as Ahadith Sharif and other factors of Islamic discipline, to such gaurding of the (Quran&)Sunnah,
such as the manhaj of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah as codified within the adherence to one of the Aimma Imams Madhab in all its rulings by all Muqallid to their Mujtahid fi'l shari' Imam (whom are of the people with insurance from ALLAH's Rasul S. as they are the salaf as Salehin themselves)
Thence, all matters outside of the Sunni Madhabs is sectarianism, which leads to those other deviant sects as within the Prophecies of RasulULLAH's Ummah (sallALLAHU alayhi wa sallam)
And ALLAH and HIS Rasul knows best
As the Sahabah radiaALLAHU anhuma would believe to know and say.

Atlantic Antiques Seeing how you are copying and pasting all over the comment section, I decided to paste my responses to you as well.
I am happy you bring all those early Muslim sources which confirm the Quran was written down during the life of the prophet. But you only mentioned specific narrations and you omitted others. This doesn’t show the full picture, and it wrongly makes it appear that a single person was responsible for the decision of what went in the written copy. Or, there was some sort of foul play. You also assume the prophet somehow taught people the Quran verses without teaching them the order, or clarifying what verses to include and what verses to not include. But this is incorrect. It’s very well known that verses were abrogated. People have studied about this and many books are written about the subject during the past millennium. You can also find evidence in the stories narrated about the prophet, and also the Quran itself makes clear reference in chapter 2 verses 106
“We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent? (106)
When talking about prophet Mohammed companions, I am not sure you recognize they are the disciples of prophet Mohammed. They are the people who intimately learned from, lived with, asked questions to and heard the sermons of prophet Mohammed never mind fought along his side. Those people formed a public committee, invited everyone in the entire community to participate, insured the authentication of each verse required at least two sworn eye and ear whiteness, checked the memorized verses against the written verses, then after having finished the compilation checked it against the copy Abu Bakr compiled earlier, then invited the entire community of believers to double check and object if they had any issues. All those discussions are preserved in the same sources you seem to have selectively partially quoted.
It was a communal effort, and people who are motivated by faith tend to place the fear of God above anything. So I am quite confident that if at the time one or few people attempted to corrupt the compiled Quran, others would have called them out. The very existence and preservation of the discussions related to this period is living proof of the authenticity and sincerity of the effort that went into compiling the Quran. If someone wanted to hide something, they wouldn’t have invent it this way.
If you are Christian, I want you to honestly reflect on this point and Imagine if the disciples of Jesus Christ (peace be upon them all) canonized a single gospel by doing the same thing instead of leaving four different gospels attributed to them at a later date (For the sake of not over stretching the point, I will not get into the difference between the four gospels themselves, or the differences between the synoptic gospels and John's gospel or the apocryphal manuscripts).
The second point is The variants in the Quran is something that was recognized in the early centuries as different readings that the prophet used that were reported by different people. The entire text of the Quran is identical, but in some verses, while the entire text of the verse is intact, there are minor differences in particular words (mainly synonyms) and sometimes different prepositions
All Qurans produced after are from those recognized readings to this day. And also anything outside of those accepted readings is rejected to this day.
It’s not the case for the the New Testament, as based on my research, variants were first recognized by Erasmus in the sixteenths century when he started working on the Textus Receptus, and later on it picked up more scholarly attention. So unless what I said was totally false, it would NOT be comparable to the Quran variants that were said to have been heard from the prophet himself and date back to the first century. (And carbon dated manuscripts confirm that).

      T. S. Thank you for your response, but I believe you have taken a defensive position in trying to defend the Gospels (which wasn’t at all the main subject of my post) and you missed out on the main points I was trying to convey in response to what this “Atlantic Antique” username has been copying and pasting all over the comments section. This person didn’t even bother to watch the videos in full, go through and verify the evidence given in the video or to at least tried to objectively understand. Instead, this person jumped into posting the type of claims that reflects badly on this person’s character and the religion this person represents and ethical standards this person holds himself accountable to.
For anyone with basic knowledge, it’s clear what this person is doing is very deceptive and shows a lack of moral integrity. But also based on my experience, these type of people will automatically reject logic and proof, and prefer to stick to listening to someone who feeds them the information they want to hear and believe rather than bother to objectively try to learn the truth because the simple fact is:
      1. If this person knows the facts and fuller picture and still decided to present the argument the way it was presented above, then it’s clear to me this person is a lying fraud and will not respond to logic or evidence because this person’s deception is intentional.
      2. If this person doesn’t know the facts and fuller picture and is only repeating someone else’s argument, then despite this person’s laziness, there maybe a benefit in showing this person the absurdity of the logic used in the post which justifies contrasting it to the Biblical equivalent.
I will try to summarize my points as follows:
      1. This person explicitly suggested the claim of missing verses by selectively picking stories without paying attention to either the authenticity or any other views. Rationally speaking don’t you think if what this person said was valid, Muslims would not have investigated any of it? What this person is doing is deliberate suppression of evidence which is fraudulent.
      2. Since the information was presented with no basic background information or explanations of what Muslims historical sources or scholars actually say, because that would immediately explain all of it. So it must be either done out of complete ignorance or deliberately. Either way it makes this person look bad.
      3. The only way I believe it’s possible to explain the argument used by this person is to draw a parallel and contrast it to a familiar setting which means a parallel comparison to the history of the New Testament. If this person is ignorant, maybe it will lead to a better understanding, and if it was a deliberate deception attempt, it would show everyone else the quality of this person’s reasoning and evidence.
I don’t care to take a view on the Gospel or play a game of “my scripture is better than yours”, it boils down to holding people like “Atlantic Antique” accountable to their own claims.
As for your post, please read my previous post again (I will be happy to post additional lectures) in addition to watching the very video above itself which I believe are sufficient to address your points. Please also do investigate all claims independently (but please stick to academic sources and stay away from apologetics). The following video may be beneficial to help you grasp what Muslims actually believe (not what many Christian apologetics tell you Muslims believe), because it contrasts Islam to Christianity
      th-cam.com/video/tqZOhNq1qu8/w-d-xo.html
I genuinely am not concerned with what you believe or don’t believe, this is your choice and I respect that. But It’s not for me, and that’s based on research and conviction, but each one of us will be held accountable by our Divine Creator independently, therefore I more concerned about myself, my own beliefs and my own actions to achieve my own salvation.
If you have additional points or clarifications, let me know.

    • @mohammedahmad8039
      @mohammedahmad8039 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      T. S. I totally understand.
Anyone who says they don’t sympathize with your position given the general climate and the content of information out there and process of information decimation would not be placing themselves in your shoes. I just think it’s weird you never stopped to ask yourself “How come Muslims don’t see what we see and why?”
Look since you are being honest, I have to tell you I am neither surprised nor caught off guard by your reply. At this stage the usual script is I go on the defensive, and you reiterate the same over consumed allegations and it ends up like every other comments section.
At this stage I see both camps using the same accusations and same refutations, it’s at a stage people are copying and pasting (myself included) without even being conscious of the content of their posts (let alone taking actual time to reasonably consider, research, verify or think about it). The issue is exasperated however, with the abundance of channels that decimated as well as enforce false accusations, so as if it’s not bad that people are not stopping to think and verify, they are being fed more misinformation. So unless people start choosing to consciously verify and research, I would say, it’s an action that they choose to participate in, which subsequently they have to justify to their Divine Creator.
I personally don’t play that game
Please note that Character assassination of prophet Mohammed is the first go to tactic that people have used in the past 1441 years.
Those character attacks were proven as lies during the time of the prophet, because people around him saw him behaving differently to what those character assassins were saying. So in a nutshell, it’s human behavior that continues to this day which we see everywhere around us ranging from today’s politics to immature teenagers. When people are unable to win, they put down the winners with gossip and spread false rumors about them. It says more about the inadequacy and incompetence of the person doing it, while not hurting the image of the winner by any means.
After the prophets passing, people didn’t stop, and let’s be honest, they never will. But their attempts were repeatedly refuted many times over by both scholars and regular people using solid evidence that you can look up. But If we are being totally honest, after having readyour post about the Quran in modern Arabic, I am not expecting you to undertake any serious scholarship. Please forgive me, but I genuinely did think that post was hilarious 😂 🤣 🤣 😂
But moving to the next issue: I fundamentally disagree with your conclusion about the compilation of the Bible vs Quran, I see them as having had two different distinct histories although that doesn’t necessarily place me in support of the “the Bible is totally corrupted camp” nor do I subscribe to “the Bible is the world of God camp”. I don’t think it’s verbatimly preserved, yet I would say what the Quran says “it contains guidance and light” and I stick to the Quran as the criterion for me.
My basis on comparatively judging between the two books was how much of it’s content is satisfying my existential questions. And as you can verify: the Quran is the winner for me.
As I mentioned above, I research things for my own benefit. I try to be as much objective as my subconscious indoctrination allow me, and I succeeded in challenging some of my accumulated prejudices but also enforced others but ended up developing a much deeper understanding of why those ideas emerged to begin with, but as I outlined before, convincing others is not a priority for me.

I like how non-muslims try to use vowel marks to show that the Quran isn't preserved. Vowel marks are simply added to help non-Arabic speakers to read the Quran, from what I understand the vowel Mark's aren't even needed for fluent Arabic speakers. Next thing we'll see is non-muslims complaining that colour-coded Qurans show that the Quran isn't preserved lol.

Your comment is exactly why I think Yasir Qadi was careful not to discuss information without going into deep details, because people either totally misunderstand or they edit out his words to spread false information. So please try to understand it from this new perspective.

*Why the existence of different qira'at does not prove the Qur'an is corrupted:*
As Muslims we admit that the Qur'an has variant readings. These variant readings are called qira'aat. They have all been revealed by God and the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him) recited the Qur'an with all of those variant readings. However, if your argument is that these variants have appeared as a result of errors due to scribes making changes to the Qur'an or people mishearing or mispronouncing the Qur'an as it was passed down orally, why is it that no Muslim scholars have ever debated with each other as to what the correct wordings are for the Qur'an? Why has the Qur'an never been through a process of textual criticism, where scholars are uncertain about the text and are debating with each other to produce a text as close to the original as possible? This has obviously happened for the Bible and other texts, but never in history has this ever happened for the Qur'an. Also, if the Qur'an is corrupt, wouldn't we expect each qira'ah to have its own versions, such as different versions of hafs or warsh or susi? Rather, each qira'ah is preserved - no two muslims in the world disagree on the hafs qira'ah or the warsh qira'ah or the duri qira'ah, etc.

So in summary Quran was revealed in 7 different forms and those forms each had some recitation methods. Some of those 7 forms were destroyed in wars. And the remaining forms had different recitations. Later on Qureishi form was chosen as the standard form by Uthman rh and was written down (Probably we have access to more than 1 form today since there are differences in text as well). And at the time there were many recitation methods. And this continued till around 100 ago when Hafs recitations was also chosen as the standard recitation.
This explains christians' claims about different Qurans being out there. And when it's said that quran is preserved and there is one quran. It means the Quran that is read today by majority of muslims gets its textual form from the manuscript written by Uthman rh and its oral form (recitation) from hafs which are approved by the prophet saw and all the muslims.
I want to completely understand this matter. Please correct me if i'm wrong and haven't understood the matter correctly.

Q1. But which one of these 7 is preserved in Laohe Mahfuz?
Q2.What gave Right to Uthman to Standardize Quran when Muhammad (s) Himself said 7 forms are prmissible?
I'm not here to argue.I am confused too.Quran was supposed to be only one and perfectly preserved in Laohe Mahfuz. It was supposed to be a Miracle. But Quran isn't only one according to Muslim scholars! how do the MIRACLE part still stand?!

At 2.17:01 you say Maalik And Malik just to confirm what category does this variation fall under ? The reading Qirat or the Ahruf ?

    • @lailaansari5922
      @lailaansari5922 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It's a variant reading stemming from the Ahruf only when it is vocalized, MAALIK or MALIK are both been authentically reported and preserved from prophet Muhammad pbuh.
The Uthmani preserved Mushaf/Quran was transcribed NEUTRALLY so it can accommodate these variant styles of reading by the different tribes even clans within the tribes. Many tribes had clans within them and the prophet's tribe Quraysh had 10 main clans.
The tribes and clans, not all but some had minute differences on how they pronounced certain words, Just the way today English within Britain is spoken very differently across the country and also have their own dialects such as Scots, Scouse, Cockney, etc,
Brits and Americans have a long list of words that are not only pronounced differently but are also spelled differently such as (Brits) ALUMINIUM and (US) ALUMINUM similarly the Arabs had variants among them especially at a time when language was not standardized.
One would need a good understanding of the complex nuances of the ARABIC language to comprehensively understand and acknowledge that it does not have any significance on the Qur'ans preservations nor do these "Ahruf/styles/dialects/variants" in any way contradict the meaning.
I hope I have made it clear enough.

It would be better if some of the Arabic terms were rendered into English for greater clarity. For example, "Ahrouf" should be referred to as articulation or pronunciation or elocution. Thus the 7 modes should have been discussed as 7 ways of articulation or pronunciation etc. Instead of merely stating "Warsh" or "Hafs" etc repeatedly examples of these should have been given for illustration.

      As salamu alaykum brother
It is true that some ahruf are not preserved, but the Qur'an still has not changed because the text of the Qur'an that we have today is exactly the same as one of the 'versions' revealed to the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him). Also, the ahruf only account for minor differences in the text such as spelling of words or synonyms and they don't contradict anything we have in our text today like the different versions of the Bible contradict each other. I hope this makes sense. Does that answer your question?

The recent controversy is NOT because Yasir Qadhi said some things during an interview that was picked up and abused by third parties. The controversy is caused by a couple of angry, conniving Muslims who provided the evidence that Muslim scholars cannot prove perfect preservation.
The 'preservation' discussion started in a forum for Islamic students and scholars where Yasir Quadhi sent some messsages about reconciling the elements of 'human transmission' and some picked up on this. 2 decided not to confront Yasir Qadhi or simply explain what he saw wrong and how this could be reconciled. Instead they decided that his heresy was serious enough to show it to the world and they leaked Yasir Qadhi's messages to the world to show how deviant his thinking was. This led to discussions etc. but later on it was decided to feed Muhammed Hijab questions he should ask Yasir Qadhi that were designed to expose YQ's repulsive way of thinking. The idea was that Muslims would see through him for what he was and he would expose his true nature. Thhe interview was held and the ploy was successful in the sense that YQ was cornered about whether he could fill a blank Quran with the direct word of god.
The leaked emails were only seen by a few, but the video caught attention.
Many Muslim apologists are angry because of YQs soundbytres ('hooles in the narrative' being the most easily quotable). But what many overlook is that the strength of a highlly-respected scholar being declared a heretic by some of his colleagues is very clear evidence that there is a problem that is so strong that idealists go behind his back to 'expose' his 'thought crimes'. The facrt that YQ tried to defend himself to the more moderate Muhammmed Hijab by opening up was not YQs fault but MH and Farid's design.
This means that YQ can try to rephrase what he wanted to say, can reaffirm his beliefs in doctrine and dogma, and it all will not help.
    1. The current collection of some 40 different variants is going to prove impossible to solidly prove to science as 'perfectly preserved'. So that claim will remain untenable in the scientific world. There are too many gaps, too many uncertainn factors too manny small issues to claim it is the direct word of god. The only way to claim it is as dogma/doctrine. Muslims are free to believe and preach it, but scientifically speaking it is not proven and never will be.
    2. A miracle should be something that is easily visible/understandable that convinces people. The Quran is too complex to be called a miracle. If one could fill one empty Quran with the direct word of god: maybe. But all the current variants all being accepted aas part of the Quran is just too much. It is possible to memorize one variant, but how many can be memorized without getting confused and mixing them up? . If one cannot memorize multiple versions how did the chains reflect the variants? If the chains did not reflect the variants how did the scribes make sure there was no confusion? How many people were needed to memorize all the versions?
