@@samedaydumpster My first season. Running a hooklift and have a few bins and looking to get more. Love all your information. It's all been informative for me. I"m up here in Canada and have the same seasonal issues you do. I'm running my winter pricing right now and gathering 5 star reviews and working on my site to improve it.
This Channel helped me so much thanks man you honestly need more subscribers your production and professionalism and experience in this is almost unparalleled on TH-cam thanks for giving out all this info in helping out people in making a informed decision
I've watched a lot of your videos and I can't get enough of them! Your video quality is top notch and you've provided great advice. I'm learning as much as I can while in school and I am saving for a dump trailer to start my business. Thanks man!
I'm looking to expand my junk removal business and get into Hooklift trucks rolloff dumpsters, I was thinking of doing anywhere from 10 yards up to 25 yards, Do You recommend having a four-wheel-drive? Dooley? what size truck do you recommend starting off with? I love your channel. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
Honestly David, if you go back and watch some of my videos from last year, I address these questions specifically for what truck is best to get started with and my thoughts on running a 4WD hooklift truck. Best of luck to you on your new business venture brother, I appreciate you checking out the channel.
These are good tips! When I walk my rig before I get rolling I'm always looking for hydraulic leaks. I'm stumped as to how I didn't have a plan to clean up if I was not at the shop. I need Casey! Thank you for the content.
Thanks for supporting and watching the channel. Let's make this year our best ever! Post up that video for Casey on your IG and tag Same Day Dumpsters.
I have never used them for water, but it makes sense as they are ultra absorbable for pretty much everything. Thanks for supporting the channel my friend. Drive safely out there today.
Excellent content, we already have the items on board the truck. what really caught my attention was offering Casey's help... Oh lord do we need some guidance. Had the Gopro set up and was trying to capture the custom safty light install... Key word "tried"... I got the equipment set up but did i get quality footage? Mmmm... Soooo... Yeah .. Y'll gunna get a video from me !!! All we got to do is make you laugh? Oh lord this is my moment to shine! 😂😂😂😂 Thank you for the chance at learning from one of the greats! 🤠👍
Post that video up to your IG stories and we will repost it. Casey is nothing short of a "Camera Wizard" Look... if Casey can me look good on a camera, he can make anyones content POP! Thanks for your comment, look forward to watching your video.
I used to service an account that was all machine shop turnings and steel grindings. The grindings would start a fire, and set the turnings on fire. I never put a good can in that account. And lots of times when I dumped the load the pile of grindings would be burning below the surface.
That's fascinating to me that those machine turnings and grindings would catch fire. Great information for anyone getting asked to service a machine shop like that. Thank you for the insight and information.
@@samedaydumpster Yeain h I was never sure if they dropped something in the can that was hot (they said they didn't) or if it was because of it rusting and building heat. The grindings were really tiny like dust. Once that lit up then the turnings would go, just like setting steel wool on fire. My cousin had a building full of bins of turnings that were all stuff like titanium and aluminum. One of his Oompa-Loompas set it on fire cutting something with a torch. It went off like crazy fireworks. It was in Philly near the river and I think it went to 4 or 5 alarms. To make matters worse he found out about it when it came on TV, and took a stroke, He died like 2 days later in the hospital
Great tips! 2 more reasons I like my standard rail trailer and truck. Worst case I am out just a can and a $17,000 trailer. File an insurance claim, go hook up to my back up trailer and get back to work. I have used strap on front on my truck to move can as well during exchange. See Casey soon ;)
Agreed that having a trailer in some cases can simplify the process of a quick disconnect. Just make sure you've added some quick disconnect type features to your trailer in the event and emergency disconnect is needed to get off that baby FAST! Drive safely brother.
@@samedaydumpster Deleted. Mixed it up with dump trailer rentals not dumpster rentals. Everybody and there brother seems to rent out the trailers. Then you have 1 company making 100+ postings on FB marketplace and/or KSL so it seems like theres a ton of supply. Just had to dig into it more.
I cleaned out a building after a fire the dumpster guy was not too happy with a consistent 8-10 tons in a 15 yarder. I kept paying his overages and he kept coming back
Burned debris is some of the heaviest dumpsters I've ever hauled. Between the water soaking in and the speciality foam that gets used, they make for some very heavy dumpsters at times. That's great that you got paid and didn't have to chase him. Well done brother.
Unfortunately for our guys up north… this contest has limits due to travel. But we will get some sort of giveaway just for all our Canadian brothers coming up soon. Thanks for the support as always. 🙏🏽🇨🇦
I was just looking at your channel to see if you had a new video out and this one popped up 30 seconds later. Awesome! Missed your content!
Hope you enjoy it brother. We are still out here in Salt Lake City doing the Lords work.

Those pig socks also work great for leaks and floods. I’ve got some in my basement due to a leaking window seal below grade.

Just the comment about never tarping in a customer’s driveway was worth the price of admission!
Class dismissed brother. You Aced the test! Thanks for watching.
Learned a ton from your channel. Also in Utah (Utah County). Retired early and been itching to get back into business after 6 months off.
I can't seem to locate your earlier comment about how overly saturated the Utah market is.... Did I miss it or did you delete it?

Hey. What camera do you use?
I'll ask Casey what he's using currently. We just recently made the switch to some new equipment so I'm not sure. But I'll ask and message you back.

did I miss him saying what exactly strap is that?
I'm using on off-road 45,000lb kinetic tow strap. Picked it up from my local 4WD shop.
Man you don’t fool around with the giveaways but I’m 🇨🇦 the spill kit is a good idea i just keep a small bucket of kitty liter.
