You can get to Taormina by car, bus or train.
Coming by train, the station is down the mount, from there you can take a local bus.
Coming by bus from Catania or Messina, you can use regional buses, which run many daily trips to Taormina.
Coming by car, you can park your car right on the mount, just 100 meters from Porta Messina (it costs 6 euro 3 hours, for example).
In Taormina you can also spend half day or a full day at beach (Isola Bella or Mazzarò): the town is connected with the coast by bus or a cableway.
Or you can go to the sand beach in Giardini Naxos, by bus.
And now something to taste: the granita!
