Bethesda is going down the scam route. I remember paying a lot for the Fallout 76 Centennial Edition for pc, and it was just a plastic box with a code inside. The game sucked a lot, but to not have even a damn steelbook with a disc is a real scam.
Not sure if the word "scam" is warranted, but I will say like the Bite Back Edition of Redfall, this is the same thing that Bethesda did on that one. I recently stated that I do not like the way that they have moved all of the pre-order perks now into a "buy them" situation. It was no uncommon to give a content pack like this away along with the Steelbook in the Collectors Edition of the game. For this one the top end Collectors Edition is $300 and it does not even come with the physical disc! I just think the word "cash grab" is a little more like it for me, but collectors like me who treasure the physical will pay it and in the end that is what matters to Bethesda. I have to agree.. I would have preferred that they did not have the word Upgrade. Could have lived with the just the word Premium, but Upgrade... Yeah didn't care for it but was not a deal breaker for me. - Thank you for watching!

I like the design of the steelbook, would just have removed the "Premium Upgrade" text on it

So the premium upgrade doesn’t include the game itself? -_- nearly ended up buying it at Walmart cause I thought it did
That is correct - premium upgrade - does not include the game - just the Steelbook and more content.
