Look at what Maiden became when they lost him, and look at what Bruce created on his own in that time. I'd put AoB and CW above almost all Maiden albums. Even ToS is right up there.

Love the production on this! F*ck yeah! The songwriting is exquisite. This is no doubt Bruces best solo album, period. He has always been consistently good in the past, but very much within a predictable box, this is fresh, yet still with his soul in it.

But then you could say the same thing about Harris, given that he wrote most of the lyrics for maiden, almost all of them, actually.
And the rest of the band OBEs , great ambassadors and promoters of the UK and the performing arts, but it's all about who you know I suppose.
Bruce Dickinson is one of the last great polymaths and a real music man so yes, why not give him a top honour.
