I hadn't been to a rock concert in roughly 30 years and it was Ghost that brought me back. My sister has seen ALL the great rock acts and she thinks Ghost is the bomb. Yeah, I think this nameless ghoul did a great job at not letting the interviewer get too much info about the band out of him. I think that the mysticism lends a certain power to the band and people should just stop caring about who's behind the masks and just enjoy the show. But, there's some people out there like Tommy Victory fucking it up with his instagram post and such. ive become a fan of ghost rather recently even though ive heard of them over the past couple years, i have to say im addicted and automatically fell in love with the music once i heard pinnacle to the pits. i thoroughly enjoy their music and the costumes are just sick i love it.

Well its confirmed to be about more things than Satan. However, the great things with Ghost is that they write songs that on the surface are catchy and about satanism. But if you look deeper there are a lot of themes like religion, politics, humanity, esoterics etc. So they managed to make songs that are radio friendly but also deep and meaningful.

At the end when Graham says "you were lucky and you didn't even know it" referring to the fans not knowing Dave Grohl was performing with Ghost: That could have easily come off as a back handed comment lol. If I was Forge, I'd think "Were they not already lucky to be watching Ghost play?"

Funny how interviewer just assumed that Dave Grohl had actually dressed up as a ghoul and performed live with Ghost and completely ran with it. Not quite what Ghoul answered...
He said, "he wore clothes and played ghost songs". That sounds to me like Grohl did some studio work with them.
ive become a fan of ghost rather recently even though ive heard of them over the past couple years, i have to say im addicted and automatically fell in love with the music once i heard pinnacle to the pits. i thoroughly enjoy their music and the costumes are just sick i love it.
I miss the anonymous days and spending hours and hours scouring the web trying to find out who these guys were. I really really miss the old band. They just had so much chemistry and charisma together. It’s shitty what they did but I just miss the old days

@@livelyrook7605 the original lineup of ghouls got into a fight about papa not paying them their fair share, so they sued him and left the band while revealing their, and Papas, identity. I don't remember the outcome of the lawsuit.
@@atillaugan5043 The ghouls lost because Tobias did almost all of the work. He basically said that that line up of ghouls were more or less "stage musicians"
@@atillaugan5043original? Two of them were original, with one of those joining the tour after awhile, replacing the mannequin they had on keys. The other two guys came in several years later.

+Matthew Jones This is the rhythm guitarist, who does most of their interviews. During album signings both the rhythm guitarist and Papa (at the time it was II) were giving their signatures. Of course, all of them except for papa use a stamp. Papa actually signs stuff in signature.

I would have liked to know who or what "He Is" is really about, but by shoving "now it's about Satan!" out there, Tobias is struggling to agree before just going along with it. Which means there's more to He Is than meets the eye, and I would have loved to know what that was. Oh man, awful, awful interviewing moment.
I believe I heard in some other interview that it has many diff meanings.
Aimtofflan I love that song, I'd like to think it was a little more deep than being about Satan. Sometimes I think a band like this is actually hurting their own art with their gimmicks. Write a beautiful song about the universe and life (for example) and then fans automatically assume it's about the wonders of Hell. Blah. I prefer to think people who can write music and lyrics this well have a little more on their brain :)
Well its confirmed to be about more things than Satan. However, the great things with Ghost is that they write songs that on the surface are catchy and about satanism. But if you look deeper there are a lot of themes like religion, politics, humanity, esoterics etc. So they managed to make songs that are radio friendly but also deep and meaningful.
EmpyreanLightASMR their corporate label “ghost writes “ and created the ghost band concept. Its not new, its not original and mostly fake satanic wannabe’s love them for their hot topic facade.
The "he" in the song is his older brother, who introduced him to music and Rock and was always an inspiration to him. His brother passed away and the song is about him.

ProgHead777 I knew from what I've heard it's meant to be an act, I didn't know it was meant to be poking fun. I literally just found them two days ago and have listened to one song and based on what I've heard it's pretty different from the rest meaning it could be difficult to get into them for me lol
I mean if they're bringing in a proper paycheck I'd be damn proud if my kid was making it big in a rock band. Only thing is since Ghost's whole thing is not knowing who they are, I wouldn't be able to brag about my son being in Ghost.
They write too specific lyrics to be making fun of satanic metal....Satanic metal was huge in Sweden and Europe, and he probably grew up a fan....

I think these interviews with Tobias being a ghoul were genius. However I enjoy his interviews much more now because removing the mask makes him more responsible if that makes sense. Either way he’s a genius.
