I have seen photos of Ghost , have scanned past their videos when they show up on my feed , so I decided to watch this video , it would have been the first Ghost video for me , I love this song , thought I was hearing my first Ghost song , but apparently it's NOT , anyway , the band that wrote and performed in this cool video has a new fan ! 👍🙂

@@dojyr3130 I did. I actually waited until the new album was released and then showed him the song. He found Tobias' voice a bit weird but overall hel 100% fell for it, and loved the tune. "Man, this new album is really full of gems" his words.

The skit itself was well worth the praise already. I was not expecting there to be an actual song at the end though, so I was blown away by the accuracy of the whole thing! I hear elements from "Rats," "Monstrance Clock," "Square Hammer," "Dance Macabre," everything is written perfectly!

I'm a Ghost fan and also a musician. This is tits. That part about the keyboards major, minor, unresolved - holy crow that was spot on. There are at least 20 different "nailed it" moments in this video - and the song is parody perfection except better.

I absolutely love that Ghost solos are more about the song then the shred but that bit killed me, because now I'm gonna imagine Tobias sitting there as he's tracking, muttering to himself "you shred, you're dead."
I mean, if there's shred, isn't it his fault to begin with?
Tobias admitted that he has basically no talent at guitar shredding, which is why he never does it. The solo in "Faith" was actually really difficult for him, and he called in the guy from Opeth to do the "Helvetesfonster" classical guitar piece.
It's actually true. GHOST solos are about the proper note selection for mood effect rather than just being some 80's thrash shredder which has been driven into the ground.
I like to think he's had that slogan made into a motivational poster and stuck it all over the studio
I also love the guitar solos on Ghost. It's simmilar to Beatles solos in that respect, they are an integral part of the sound of the song, you can't imagine it with a different solo.
As a Ghost fan… yeah that seems pretty accurate. Spooky Scooby-Doom metal. It even has the rotating cast of Ghouls in there too.

I keep coming back to this one. It's funny as hell and the song itself is surprisingly good. I can't believe the amount of work and talent it must have taken to create this, analyzing and pinpointing exactly what makes a great Ghost song, playing all the instruments AND writing a skit full of hilarious inside-jokes that could only have been written by a true Ghost fan. Awesome stuff!
Not only is this absolutely hilarious, it is also brilliant. I could not stop laughing during the creation, but the end result sounded exactly like a GHOST song, whom of which I am a huge fan of. Glad I found this channel, it is so great. Keep it up!

I watched this twice, I can't get over the "you shred, you're dead" and killing the bass ghoul lmao, as a huge Ghost fan and musician, you guys nailed both the humor and style of Ghost, the song is exceptionally well written and has all the classic Ghost elements! I'd love to see Tobias Forge's reaction to this.
Simultaneously hilarious and actually rather accurate as well. And that song, it could easily fit into any ghost album without anyone noticing it wasn't them AND it freaking rocks.

I was enjoying the comedy. Then that bass keyboard and drum beat started and I was like "Yeah, this sounds legit". Then the vid at the end. Wow! You've outdone yourself. That was completely amazing and sounds 100% authentic, legit, Ghost! I think Tobias would shite himself. In fact, he should adopt this tune and put it on the next album. False. Tobias is a one man band. He writes and plays everything himself, aside from the drums. It's only him in studio with an unnamed drummer. The ghouls are merely stage performers- he gives them the music to play on tour.
@@Mellycat89 It was revealed, like, 6 years ago that he wasn’t a one man band. By the time the world found out they DIDN’T actually replace Papa with a new person from album to album..
The most recent news of Ghost in the studio is even Tobias stating; “I am a control freak. But that doesn’t mean I’m in control.”
Pretty sure that states the so called “ghouls” aren’t just there to perform on stage. But hey, what do I know? 🤷🏼
@@muskelvand Probably also has something to do with their older stuff being way more interesting than the last couple of records. I'd bet it was a more democratic process in the beginning. I might be wrong though ... The arena anthem radio rock is getting a bit played out on this last record. Just sounds like they're stuck on repeat now.
