If yu fighting against someone with a whole other discipline that yu have no backgrouns/ knowledge of ofc yu gonna get beat. And no offence to rodtang the dude is one of the best if not the best muay thai fighters in the world atm, but hes not one of the greatest of all time. But within his weight class DJ *is* . Imo besides the grappling it was already a mismatch, but a super exciting event nonetheless.

Even DJ admitted he doesn't know the rules and how the points are scored in a Muay Thai fight.
If you're going to take Muay Thai Fighters educated response about Superlek Kiatmoo9 vs Rodtang Jitmuangnon fight then watch Buakaw Banchamek judge their fight and he also scored the fight for Superlek Kiatmoo9. All the uneducated ignorant casual Rodtang Jitmuangnon fanboys gave me a good laugh by complaining and whining about fight results against Superlek Kiatmoo9 by calling it a "robbery", amused me with their ignorance.
I will explain why Rodtang Jitmuangnon lost against Superlek Kiatmoo9 since you do not know the Rules and how the Point System is scored in a Muay Thai fight.
The rules and point system in Muay Thai are scored vastly different then MMA, Kickboxing and Boxing. Punches to Leg Kicks are the least scored in Muay Thai since they do not cause major damage like the other 6 weapon's in Muay Thai or Thai Clinching. But Leg kicks score more than Punches. 1 power precision Leg Kick is worth 4 full power accurate punches that have clearly hit the target. The only time Punches to Leg Kicks are counted are when you drop your opponent as a knockdown, or you leave your opponent completely black and blue causing major damage to his entire body. That is the only time it is counted.
Elbows, Body Kicks to High Kicks, to Knee's, dominating in the clinch score the most points, with Teeps scoring the highest points. Body Kicks to High Kicks to Knees and dominating in the Clinch are the most scored points in Muay Thai with Teeps are the Number #1 technique who scored the most out of all.
So if a Muay Matt (Muay Matt are Punchers and Leg Kickers) all they are doing is punching and leg kicking throughout majority of the fight (without knocking down your opponent or dominating the entire fight) with a Muay Femue (Muay Femue are Technical Counter Fighters who are excellent in all 8 weapons and clinching) who utilizing all techniques and is body kicking with high kicks as well, including knees in the clinch and teeps that clearly hit the target is going to automatically going to win. Those are the consequences when you're a Muay Matt fighter because you're willing to lose on the score cards when all you do is punch or leg kick because you're looking for the KO or to dominate your opponent.
Now on why Rodtang lost the 2nd and 3rd round. Not only did Superlek score a Knockdown in the second round which automatically won the round (since in a 3 round fight), unless if your opponent scores a knockdown on you as well. Now, even if it was not scored as a Knockdown in the 2nd round, Superlek Kiatmoo9 outclassed and outscored Rodtang in the 2nd round and 3rd round. Here are the Strikes and Grappling techniques that were scored from both Nak Muays. I only scored precision power strikes that have clearly hit the target, I did not score strikes that blocked, missed or flimsy weak strikes, since in Muay Thai, strikes with no intention to hurt your opponent are not scored.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon only scored in Round 2, 1 Leg Kick, 2 Teeps, 1 Elbow and 5 Punches that clearly hit the target. That is all Rodtang scored in Round 2. Superlek Kiatmoo9 scored in Round 2 with 6 Leg Kicks, 1 Body Kick, 3 High Kicks, 2 Teeps, 4 Elbows, 11 Knees and 5 Punches. Superlek Kiatmoo9 outscored him in the scored him by major points.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon only scored in Round 3, 1 Leg Kicks, 4 Elbows, 7 Punches, 1 Dump and 1 Sweep. That is all Rodtang Jitmuangnon could do in the 3rd round. Superlek Kiatmoo9 scored in Round 3, 2 Leg Kicks, 2 Body Kicks, 1 Teeps, 3 Elbows, 16 Knees and 5 Punches. Rodtang Jitmuangnon was outclassed and schooled which not surprising since Rodtang, (since even in 100% Peak and Prime years back in mid 2017 to late 2020) has always failed against S Class Nak Muays/ S Class Muay Femues like against he was outclassed and schooled by Rungkit Wor Sanprapai in 2018 when Rungkit was 16 Years old and Rodtang Jitmuangnon was 21 years old, then Rodtang was outclassed and schooled by Kaonar PkSaenchaiMuayThaiGym in mid 2020. Rodtang Jitmuangnon has never been a S Class Nak Muay and has never been at a Master Level. Rodtang Jitmuangnon was outclassed and schooled by Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Next time all you casual need to invest by researching/watching Muay Thai to gain knowledge to subject you know nothing about before you ever score a Muay Thai fight.
