      I always appreciate the helpful information you share with us, Roger, the tremendous research you must be doing, and your vast knowledge and intelligence (did I miss anything?). And you're applying all of these gifts to help your fellow humans. Thanks from a LOT of us.

      Thanks doc! I learnt of you just yesterday through a presentation on another TH-cam channel. Was impressed by your vast knowledge and so I've been looking you up... so here I am listening to you again 😁

    Ever since the pandemic started, I started doing deep research on nutrition and sleep. I have been on low carb, 0 sugars and fasting has changed my life style of living. The morning light has improved my sleep quality at night. Thank you for this video

      Can’t really be summarised as it’s packed with so much information. I think an hour of one’s time is worth it if it extends one’s life by 20 years.

    Great info. Thank you both so much. The two of you are my favorite doctors to refer to for true health guidance. Dr. Hyman, with all due respect…I can not help but mention that the amount of ads during this hour were excessive to me.

I have moved from 5 pills to 1 for type 2 diabetes,s and l was not infected by covid even with close contact. I am helping others make lifestyle changes based on my proven results. I am on heavy animal based diet, with lots of red meat, and they are conventionally raised most of the time. I've been checking my CRP and it's consistently low at 0.2- 0.3. Btw, I drink yoghurt that I made from store bought milk daily. I don't believe that red meat and milk causes inflammation. I have lots of respect to rhis doctor, but remember he is a vegetarian himself, so there is unavoidable bias. To check out about Nu5G ( sialic acid), check out dr. Paul Salidino podcast on this.

    • @zxctgb
      @zxctgb 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Conventionally raised makes a big difference: more omega 3, less omega 6, more phytonutrients. The evidence against red meat is flawed, it specifically mentioned that harms were from processed red meat and red meat fried at a high temperature, but I'm guessing that it is the additives such as nitrates and wheat, and the oxidisation of vegetable oil that causes problems, not the red meat itself. Personally I eat red meat every day and it's astronomically helpful, many people don't absorb non heme iron well from plants, so need red meat.

    Neu5Gc inflammation study: Goat and Sheep dairy products like feta goat cheese or sheep yoghurt have a higher value on the Gcemic index than beef. So I assume people in the mediterranian countries must have very short lives and are dying like flies. No?
