Agreed, I also think it was a missed opportunity to do something special with the manual. Maybe even serialize them to the chassis numbers or include a certificate, something special like that. Oh well...
Got mine the other day here in the UK, thanks for the video Great insight to what you get 👍 cracking looking box done a great job with that 👍 as for cost saving! They are charging a lot more than the classic re re ,so would of expected a 40th anniversary manual! But super happy I got one ❤ do you know how limited the run will be ? Looks like no chance of getting one here if you didn't pre order!!! Thanks again.
Looks great. Mine just arrived a few hours ago via UPS as well. I never payed attention to these back into the day, was more into the Japanese brands specifically Kyosho and Tamiya.
Great video. Thank You. Mine arrives UPS tomorrow. I am surprised they didn’t include bearings- all the Kyosho re-releases came with them, I figured AE would have done the same. So the question remains, who will make the kit for these? FastEddy, looking at you bruh. lol. Love my vintage r/c!!
I am too, I thought AE could have done something neat like offer different kits like in the old days, 6010 with bushings, 6016 with bearings, etc. I am sure FastEddy, Avid, and the usual folks will have bearing kits ready and waiting! Good luck with your build!
It’s to replicate how it came with bushings. I bought a set of bearings from team JB they seem really nice. Eddy bearings I bought once I didn’t like them at all. Same with acer ceramics. What a waste those were. Avid bearings are good but they are out of stock for this model.
@@goldenmanuever1176 Admittedly I have not built my RC10CC yet, but I heard folks were struggling with the harder plastic on the CC. A lot of folks were pre-tapping holes to avoid cracking. But for this new kit I have nothing but good things to say about the quality and fit of the plastic.
Were the two front nose supports the same length? On the Clear Edition one was shorten than the other in a few unboxings. Great vid, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the unboxing! Really surprised to not see a manual in there. Not all of us want to build a kit looking at an iPad screen!

I am about halfway through the build, you will enjoy it! Have fun!

Thank you! I'm Excited! 2 of mine will be here tomorrow :)
I am impressed with the quality, fit and finish so far. Good luck with your build!
How can you buy two? It clearly stated one per customer.
@@duckheadrc glad to hear you are impressed. Not a lot of people were with the CC version. Brittle parts cracking and shoddy Thunder Tiger hardware.
@@goldenmanuever1176it is one per order.

love to know the links to those who are making parts for vintage rc 10`s

Yes, both nose brace tubes were the same length. All in all the parts and build quality is excellent!
