Hello, Michael! Another amazing batch of records in nice shape. Great aquisitions, no doubt about it. Looking forward to the saturday streaming. Bye for now, Nelio.
Love the psych stuff! I started collecting records in the 80's, and even then the holy grails of psych were getting crazy expensive. Fortunately there was a record store in Houston at the time that had a backstock of most of the albums on the International Artists label, so I managed to get sealed copies of 13th Floor Elevators, Bubble Puppy, Golden Dawn, Red Crayola, etc for $10 each. Good times.
Yeah, Michael! What a video! I know every snigle record you showed but I have none of it as a first press. The closest is the "S. F. Sorrow" by The Pretty Things which I have as a German 2nd edition, also from 1968, but other order number on the label and on the sleeve. Very beautiful albums, musically at first, but yes, indeed these are ultra-rare records which you usually don't see in any condition. I am REALLY REALLY looking forward to the stream with Günther on Saturday!
Beautiful rare records ,wow the Zweistein on Philips label is a beauty. Slade amazing that record is so rare & collectible. Slade very popular in the 70s ,in the Uk. Hit after hit. Noddy Holder singing of course. Oh yes Tomorrow,Steve Howe from Yes on guitar 🎸. Kaleidoscope oh man. Amazing records & the condition is on another level. Congratulations Michael Until next time 😎✊
That's an impressive stack of records...NM vinyl + NM jackets those could easily run > 10k EU for the lot. Someone can pretty much ask whatever they want, it's not like you can go find another copy to buy.
Its Velvett Fog, not Frog. Good haul. Any chance you could say where you sourced these and maybe do a more detailed analysis of the music on these albums. Thanks.
well this was amazing Michael. To show those Kaleidoscope LPs...those are all time grails for me. I have good reissues but damn, those are scarce. Great Kraut LPs to show from the hop too, I only know those slightly. Will have to check em out. Do have a clean copy of the Watchband as well, and an older reissue of Art. Great one and will comment on the video with Gunter as well
Was incredibly happy and surprised to find a Velvett Fogg in a UK charity just a few months ago for £1. I did already own the LP but by far my best ever charity find. Look forward to the next video. Cheers Nigel
Another great lot of records Michael. Wouldn’t mind the Art and Ambrose Slade albums myself. It’s also worth pointing out that Tomorrow’s lead guitarist (on the right hand side of the rear of the cover) is none other than guitarist extraordinaire Steve Howe shortly before he joined the second line up if Yes.
Wow. Those Kaleidoscope lps are absolute gems and as rare as hen's teeth. I have reissue of Tangerine Dream. Ditto for Velvett Fogg and Art. I have to settle for the reissues, which is fine. I am envious of your collection! Kudos!
Wow!! I just noticed that it was 6 years today when I attended Roky Erickson's Birthday Concert. So, Iit must be his birthday . LOL What a great day to do a Psych record video.
I played Art a lot in the late 90's/2000's. Started down the rabbit hole. Never actually found the rabbit. Ambrose Slade was released as Ballzy on Fontana in the USA.
Twink is the drummer of Tomorrow in 1967 and the drummer of the Pretty Things on SF Sorrow in 1968. UK 1st press of "Tangerine Dream" and "Faintly Blowing" by Kaleidoscope are the rarities of this collection !!!! I love this band ! Their third album "From Home to Home" under the name "Fairfield Parlour" is a also a great album. And expensive.
Fantastic selection of early psych but this genre is alive and well with fantastic bands such as Och, Monokultur, Centrum, Loopsel, Dead Sea Apes etc. Check them out, particularly the Scandi bands and anything from Drone Rock Records. Thank you for sharing these amazing titles.
@@andysmusicden Monokultur is Loopsel and J Jullius who also record individually, try Svenska Psykvanner, Kombynat Robotron and Domboshawa as well. Enjoy 😊
@@Michael45RPM no offence intended :-) your English is way better than my grasp of your beautiful language. my sister is a fluent German speaker - her first husband was half German (not sure which half!!)
Did you win the lottery or something? I envy you. I know it’s not a good feeling but I do. I couldn’t afford even one of this, let alone this collection. Good for you. I have the reissues and the cds and I love the music. Originals are luxury items these days, at least for me. I saw the last show of Kaleidoscope, in London six or seven years ago. Beautiful show. Peter Daltrey was wonderful. And Twink opened the show. Good times😃
Just one explanation: the accurate name of the last band that you show is "Art", not "Supernatural Fairy Tales", title of the album. Anyway, sound man.
Can you maybe do a comparison of the latest 2016 Bernie Grundman DSOTM with other DSOTM releases? I’m a newbie in vinyl and have just bought the 2016 DSOTM, would love to see some advice whether the other „better” versions are really worth it.
The name of the group is Art and Supernatural Fairy Tale is the name of the album.

Very nice Michael! Thanks for sharing!😊
Superb collection of very hard to find LPs Michael. Nice to see them
Cool records, thanks for sharing. I’ve never seen John Peel spelled with two n’s and two l’s.
Always entertaining to see Rare Records, and learning about them is is the best. Thank you, Michael !

Supernatural Fairy Tales has been on top of my wantlist for years. Great find.
Impressive collection!
You should try Comus First Utterance or Gracious!
Comus was on top of my want for so long. One of the best imo.
This is a big focus with my collecting. Tremendous albums. Absolutely killer stuff.
I am fairly new to Psych, I know the big ones of course, but I have been seeking out more and more lately. Thanks for this video!
Thank you for the video! I played my 2015 Record Store Day reissue of Tomorrow after watching this!
Love seeing those first two Krautrock albums. Such a treasure. Danke.
Its Velvett Fog, not Frog. Good haul. Any chance you could say where you sourced these and maybe do a more detailed analysis of the music on these albums. Thanks.
Showing some real heat 🔥👍
That Chocolate Watchband looks like it's actually a German pressing not the US. At least the jacket
Your chocolate watchband is Not the first Press.

great stuff. I need that Chocolate Watchband on Tower. It's been eluding me for years in that condition.
Thanks for these wonders !!!
I did not know you were interested in Psych. There are many great Psych VC channels and I’ve never seen you comment on their channels.
are there other VC Channels?
@@Michael45RPM A few. Take care.

I’ll give you two pounds for it! Nice little profit for ya. 😉
@@bigsweetc6 Haha, very generous offer. My friend is going to buy my spare copy.

Tony Iommi was in Velvett Fogg for like five minutes prior to Black Sabbath, and he is not on this album.
he meant Tommi Loomy ;)
Wow that's awesome really rare albums ☮️🍄🎸
Congratulations 🎉

Great artwork!
Who were the visual artists?
Kennst du just a poke...von sweet smoke? Das is auch cooler Kram....
nein aber das werde ich mir definitiv anhören Danke für den Tip
@@Michael45RPM ja sehr geil das Stück Silly Sally... So ab Minute 6 Anlage aufdrehen...
Das ist eine super Platte....guter Geschmack
Hallo Michael wie reinigst du deine Nadeln? Auch wenn du jede Platte wäschst wird sie ja irgendwie dreckig werden. Danke für deine Mühe
Michael - for reference it's Tony Iommi (eye-oh-me) hope you don't mind?
sorry!

I'd just like to understand what you think is too much ($$$) for an LP, no matter how rare? My limit is about $350 USD....
Velvett Fogg not Frog ;)
Tommy Loomi??
his name is Tony Iommi with I not L. And the band name is Velvett fogg not frog.
You are kidding. Twogether. Impossible to find!
Jetzt mal ernsthaft, wo findet man das?
WHOOEEE....That bunch must have broken your Piggy Bank.....the covers are way better than the music IMO....I look forward to Saturdays Livestream!!!
Joe Byrd & The Field Hippies. Indescribable.
Oh man that’s not nice!!
