    I think Kirat is trauma bonded to 'fake Bobby'. She can't seem to dissociate from him. Simran made Kirat a target of narcissistic abuse. Given the trauma she got from this whole thing, wouldn't she want to heal and move on from it? Telling your story is one thing, but continuously telling it by featuring in podcasts and interviews is another? What did she expect? The general public to try and 'find' Simran. If she was smart enough to catfish you for nearly a decade. Surely, she knows how to make sure she doesn't get any punishment for it.

    That comment at 1:32:33 is definitely a family member of Simran. I won’t be surprised if that’s the angle her defence argue. Simran should just issue a public apology and put her evil genius mind to good use. She is a fascinating character no doubt and will be studied for years to come.

      @@ColdStreamby any means I'm defending Simaran for the way she acted, it was cruel and bad, but when you see the entire picture we're humans and everyone makes mistakes even Kirat at the time couldn't realize what was the reality from the fiction and that's okay to admit too

      I've enjoyed all 3 of your videos on this topic, thank you. Just an observation on Simran's time management during this time and how she was able to go to uni and progress her career. Kirat said in the Indy & Dr podcast that Bobby was hospital on the east coast of America and then he was moved to the west coast. Simran may have moved Bobby to the west coast because there is a 7 hour behind U.K time difference. So when Bobby was 'asleep', Kirat was up and going about her day. This gave Simran time to work at her uni/job commitments until Bobby woke up at about 3/4 in the afternoon u.k time. The East coast has a 4 hour time difference so it still gave Simran, albeit less, time to organise herself for work etc. I feel most of the main interactions between Kirat and Simran probably started late afternoon/ early evening u.k time. This may be why Simran was able to manage her time most of the time. Thanks again, you guys have asked a lot of the questions many were thinking. I've enjoyed your discussions and your co-host has made some valid comments from a female perspective. I look forward to your future podcasts.

    I'm just thinking how Kirat didn't think why Simran met Bobby before her when he was meant to be in a relationship with Kirat! It's also the fact how Simran knew so much and became very invested in the situation in a strang way . I think in 2011 cat fishing was way ahead of it's time and this is not to defend Kirat but the fact the cat fisher knew the people Kirat knew in real life allowed her to manipulate those around her online and in real life. As well as the fact she pretended to be 60 different people online. This means she must have stalked and stolen 60 people's profiles to carry this out, especially over the span of 10 years, which is astonishing!!! I could not think what the motivation behind Simran's actions are and we will never know until she says anything, if she ever does!!!

    It was witness statements put out in the public domain that captured a journalist’s imagination that started this whirlwind for Kirat …it’s the same level of dopamine and self righteousness that she demonstrated during her 9 year joke !

    With the infertility issue, infertility doesn’t always mean you can’t have kids at all. It could also mean, you can have kids but only with medical intervention: such as ivf. If you’re past a certain age, ivf is no longer an option. So I think it’s both, wasted time and fertility.

    I was harsh in my comments. (Sorry, Kirat!) I think I’m just triggered because I was in an unhealthy relationship. When my first marriage ended, I was devastated; however, being in my mid thirties I knew I didn’t have time to waste so I sought help, read books, and reflected a lot on why I married the guy in the first place. I feel like Kirat is wasting time, getting sidetracked with telling her story. It doesn’t matter who knows, who is supportive, all that matters is she learns from it so the pattern of being unhealthy doesn’t repeat itself. (On a side note, I did eventually attract and marry a healthy, wonderful man at age 39! There is hope for everyone!)

    Something is very wrong with the family dynamics. It’s almost like an ongoing historic family feud between two branches of the same family. Based on my assumption Kirat’s family seem to be perceived in the SA community to be more reputable hence the takedown by Simran. I think initially it was a covert way Simran remained in Kirats life. But something happened in year 8 -10. An unwed daughter living at home in her late 30s is not a good look for a SA family. I feel Simran became vindictive to embarrass Kirats immediate family motived by the larger feud. I think Kirats family are lovely and have no understanding of her bs excuse that the SA community put pressure on her to marry etc. For her to be living at home in her 30s not getting engaged to Bobby until she’s about 38 does not example any pressure. Her lack of culpability, when she has no one to blame, the SA community are at fault. This makes her an unlikeable victim.

    Kirats meeting with Bobby's aunt who said Bobby lives in Bristol has many holes in it. Wasn't Bobby supposed to be living in New York at the time? The Dr guy in the Indy & Dr podcast even says, "New york,". However, Kirat ignores him and insists it's Brighton in the podcast and to the aunt. Kirat says, " so many incredible things had happened", so she is referring to the shooting, witness protection etc, to give a context for her meeting with the aunty. At this time Bobby was in America. Correct me if I'm wrong? I'm confused as to when Bobby left America.. I know this is your final video but there are still many things that need clarification so hope you don't mind these types of questioning comments.

    • @ColdStream
      @ColdStream  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We actually love these questions, thank you so much! Keep them coming, we’re thinking if the person interviewing Kirat can’t get answers out of her then we’ll have no chance 😭 and I agree totally, it seems like there was no clarity at all given for key moments/changes in Kirat’s Story.
      Can’t make any promises on a part 4 but it’s not totally impossible, it’ll depend on what questions and what details we come across which we have a already mentioned and just as you’ve so rightly said, there really is still so much, still unanswered, questioning comments are very welcome, any comment from you is welcome really 🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳🥳

    • @nars1999
      @nars1999 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You said keep them coming so here goes! This is a long post, so apologies upfront.
      Following on from my comment above and trying to make sense of the timeline, I looked at the Tortoise media transcript. Alexii states Bobby and Kirat had started messaging in November 2010. Five months after this, Kirat saw real Bobby in the Brighton club. Then Alexi says, "After Brighton, Bobby distanced himself from Kirat. He moved to Australia and got engaged to a new partner. Kirat was invited to his wedding in Kenya. She couldn’t make it but saw pictures of the ceremony on Facebook."
      In episode 2, Alexi goes on to state that in November 2013, Bobby was shot in Kenya after he was there to get married, and from there, Bobby was sent to America.
      So Bobby was out of the UK for much of their friendship and didn't return until right at the end when it all got exposed on the 9th of June 2018, according to Tortoise.
      In the Indy & Dr podcast, Kirat says she met the aunty a year before the face to face confrontation with the real Bobby in 2018, so this aunty meeting must have been in 2017. Aunty did not mention America and instead said they live in Bristol, which Kirat corrected and said no, Brighton. Why did Kirat ask her about Brighton when she could have asked about America and clocked on?
      Kirat also says she questioned Bobby on the Indy & Dr podcast about lying once, and he said, "I'm sorry. I just wanted to see my son. "
      This questioning apparently happened in December 2017 as the aunty had said in the Bristol conversation that "they were with us in December." Kirat had got suspicious of Bobbys behaviour at that time and questioned him. So Bobby flew to the u.k from his hospital bed to see his son in December but couldn't see Kirat?
      Bobby arrived in the UK in February 2018, and the face to face confrontation happened in June of that year, so Bobby couldn't have seen his son then. As Kirat stated, it was December. This post isn't about catching Kirat out. it's about making sense of her story. Okay, thanks for reading ( if you did!)

    I’m getting sick of people going on about victim shaming. This is a one sided story, it’s not balanced. We don’t know nothing about Simran only what Kirat has said. This is basically a modern day gossip story your aunts would tell you. We need facts not a story that Kirat keeps changing.
    Also if she had to choose her parents or Bobby. She would choose her parents but still see the boyfriend in secret which was normal back in the 80s/90s, that would be considered normal in our culture 😂. Sick of culture blaming too 😂

    • @Bh4viSB27
      @Bh4viSB27 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Simran settled and gave Kirat a sum of money as compensation. That alone shows it’s not one-sided? Pathetic gossipy comment.

    • @Littlebigfight
      @Littlebigfight หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ LOL!! It’s not gossip to see actual facts. Court documents, if anyone has an actual link please post it here. So I can make up my mind. Netflix is notorious for distorting the truth on these documentaries. According to one of the podcasts Kirat admitted to having thoughts of running over Bobby’s wife. Is that not stalker behaviour? She herself has also said she’s a victim and is not advocating for this. So if she’s admitting it how is any of this victim shaming?

    • @Littlebigfight
      @Littlebigfight หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ Also if they did settle, why would the judges comments lean on both Kirat and Simran equally as if both were to blame? When something like this gets thrown in the public domain we need facts. She needs help from a psychiatrist to get over this, as does her cousin. Nobody seems to have the balls to say this to her.
