- In his first ever published poem HPL envisages a USA ruined by mass immigration, a topic oh so painfully relevant in our present day.

About:
In this video Vasil is presenting and analyzing the 1912 poem "Providence in 2000 A.D." by American author Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
Nice work, rookie. Liked and Subbed.
Hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right? 😉 Definitely appreciate your support. 😊
I'm an American living in the state of Arizona one of the current hot spots for what we generally refer to as "the immigration issue". I have no university thesis to drop in your comment section. My experience has been that America is a nation of immigrants who love to complain about other immigrants. The groups change overtime but the conversation is always the same.
Thank you for taking your time to watch the video and for sharing your point of view.
Your blinders are on sir. The more immigrants we take it, the lower the cost of labor is driven, and the higher cost for key things like housing
@@Kim_YoJong Madam, I wasn't implying anything by my statement, the words are intended to be taken quite literally. I have no special wisdom or insight regarding the immigration issue other than the fact that the same talking points have been repeated verbatim throughout history.
@@robloggia fair enough then
I like your accent a lot, though it sounds more Russian than Bulgarian to me
Glad to hear that. :) Well, it's Slavic blood after all. :)
I'd really like to hear more about obscure literature from you but maybe tone down the political commentary a little. Just felt a bit excessive
Thank you. I'd be glad if you would stick around. While I won't be hiding my political views per se, I definitely don't plan for my videos to be this political in general. ;)
