Winter ENDUROCROSS! - POV

Finally got our winter track fully cleared off after some really weird/annoying weather in the first part of winter. Threw on the GoPro for my first few laps of the season :) Looking forward to getting out a lot more in the next couple of months! I'm thinking about doing another more in depth tour of the track, with a filmer. Let me know what kinda things you're curious about and I'll make sure to answer them!!

I walk my trail on my property with a propane bottle hooked to one of those roofer torches..same ones they use at the drag strip. Melt at least the hard sections, big logs & corners. Works great.

My approximate and non-scientific guide to riding on studs... Ice = great traction, like good tacky clay. Dry snow = very loose sand, wet snow = mud.

Your dedication to riding is inspiring. Great work! My question would be: how often do you have to change your linkage and swingarm bearings? Some of those hits in those cold conditions must impact hard on those parts. Thx.

I do use studs yeah, once the ground freezes in late november we have to run studs until spring. Grip Studs, 1740 model in front and 1800 model in the rear.

Can i get perfect trail bike from yz250 with apex head, flywheel weight, and 250x gear box?
Will ill get the big difference with this upgrade?

Don't worry about the gear box. But change gearing to 13-50 or 13-51 🤙
