Been diving til Scubapro Hydros Pro for 3 months now - Cold water and drysuit diving in the nordics.. its a absolute beast.. and SOOO nice to dive... Im a beginner just 12 dives in total but choose to invest in proper gear from the start - and have not regretted a single moment. ITS SO NICE TO DIVE and so easy to clean, trim, and ajust along the way.. I get why its the top pick. Happy new year - great channel and hope to see more great content in 2021
Thanks for the note Christian and buying your own gear can be a major advantage over rental equipment and fees. Everyone sets their own budget and all the BCDs seen here are excellent in their own right. We plan to be right here in '21, best regards ! Bob C
I too am a fan of the Axiom platform. I dove the I3 for a couple of years but having to send the I3 to AquaLung once a year for service is a royal PITA. Do what you want but avoid the I3 model.
Hey Tim, good question... I've bought, sold, owned and dove about everything, but I'd say my favorite and what I keep going back to is the Aqua Lung Axiom. Second would be the HOG Pro, very affordable and the Hybrids are the way to go.
Hey Captain, No problem using AquaLung Reg with SP BCD... Many of us are brand dyslexic when choosing dive gear, while others are walking billboards for certain makers...

I dive the HOG PRO, I have noticed while diving at the Springs several of the instructors where diving the same BCD. I think this is a great BCD.
Hi Rick, yes the Hog PRO has been a much bigger success than most folks expected. Great for new divers and like you said, DMs and Instructors love it.
i agree the Hydros BC is the best, the wife and i both dive with this BC all the time on trips, it's sticks to you like glue and is very comfortable
The minimalist construction of the Hydros Pro is very appealing and gotta agree with the Sticks like part of your comment..
Also agree with the axium BCD choice, i use this every time while teaching classes
I moved beyond the, cool factor, let's say of other BCDs because the Axiom gives me the best of all types of diving.... especially while teaching.

How about the new classic?
You know the Classic is ok but I always push toward a BCD with Quick Release should straps..
The Glide is basically the Classic with extra features..
What are you diving Bob? Do you wear a different BC for fun than when you teach?

Are you able to use an Aqualung Legend Regulator with the Scuba pro BCD? Or should you stay with the same brand and go with the scuba pro Mark 25?
