Getting these so well crafted and precise and to such high quality takes lot of work and experience and knowledge. I've made a few patches but I need more and I will add your set to my OB-X8 as they are really excellent. First class. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your words. I am so glad to have feedbacks about my work and when it is appreciated. Yes, you are right. They need work and so much passion in what I am doing. And these feedbacks are a big incentive to improve my skill and my products. I hope that these sounds will inspire you in your music. 😊

I have the Quantum Mark 2 now. I have looked at both Moog One and OB X8. What are your thoughts on those? OB X8 sounds fantastic, but seems a little bit limited in design capabilities. I do feel the Quantum can do quite advanced sound design as well so I do wonder how much I really need these 2 synths as well.
Hello. Firstly thank you for purchasing my sound banks for the Quantum. I hope you will appreciate my work. About the Moog One and the OBX8, they are very different. The Moog one is an analog polysynth that has huge possibilities in terms of sound design ( not forgetting that uses just analog waveforms and subtractive synthesis), but it has a very small sweet spot and needs a very meticulous and experienced programming to sound good. The OBX8, as well as the Prophet 10 that I also own, are raw analog power with much less possibilities in sound design, but they have a very big sweet spot and they are the synths that when you hear, you will say: wowww. What a warm and dynamic sound ! So it depends on what you are looking for. The Quantum can produce very nice analog like sounds. But anyway they will be different from a real analog synth. Even if the Quantum can count on an analog low pass filter. I hope my answer helped you a bit 😉
@@smvproducerFirst things for the excellent patches. Great fun to go through them. Second thanks for the nice breakdown. I'm still a beginner with synths (come from only using sample instruments and physical instruments), however I'm a programmer and mathematician so I find that I learn complex tools quickly. It almost sounds like I should consider getting say the OB-X8 first since it is an easier synth to get good sound out of and also considerably cheaper and then maybe with time get a Moog One if I feel like I really want to dive deeper into pure analog. I plan to also begin designing my own sound in VST more so it could be that I'm happy to stay in that digital realm. However I am still a more classical instrumentalist so I like having a "real" physical instrument. Would you recommend I get the OB desktop or the keys? As I understand Quantum has better keys after all so not sure I need them, also its 2000 cheaper here in Europe. Of course keys feels more physical than a little box.
@@andreasoberg2021 if you have enough space, I would go for the keyboard version. The OBX8 and the Prophet 5/10 in my opinion, look more classic in their keyboard versions. And I am with you preferring hardware synths rather vst. The latter sound very good too, but the physical contact with a real synth, is totally different story. And thanks for appreciating my sounds😀
@@smvproducerThanks for the insight. I think I can make room for a couple more. I just came back for a walk and hear this incredible sound from TH-cam. It was the "Move" patch from your Texture set just randomly playing :D I just notice with VST I had so may for years, but almost never play them. However when I got the Quantum and my Yamaha Grand Piano I play every day on them. I think that says it all. One thing that is causing me some issue is that I have these Genelec SAM 8351B for my main desktop workstation (4 monitors and a TV, RME Fireface II etc), but its tricky to have my synth there since this is my VFX and video workstation. So what I have done now is I put the Synths to the side with smaller Genelec 8030, I noticed the speakers have to be close to the synth or it feels wrong. My idea is to have it a music workstation and do my music there, but then maybe do final mixing with my SAM speakers with all the monitors. Otherwise I would have to manually lift the keyboards to my desktop every time and its quite cramped there. So far having 2 workstations seems quite well, maybe I move the sam speakers to the synths just for fun. Also waiting on my new Apple laptop that I think will be a dedicated music and possibly video station. Lots of hardware to juggle but all fun! Btw your patches are much better than what is included with the Quantum.
