We sailed on the Equinox in early 2018. What many people don't know is if you are assigned to the MDR early or late dining, where you have a regular table each night, you can get more comfortable chairs. Celebrity has ones that are very similar to the standard dining chairs (curved design, like Jenny described), however, the ones suitable for larger people do not come as far forward on the sides. They are designed in a way that gives you a LOT more room and comfort, yet the chairs look almost exactly like the standard ones. Unless someone is looking very closely, no one will notice you are using a different style chair. I was so impressed that they had those chairs available. We did have to inquire if they had something more comfortable before the different chairs were discreetly placed at our table for the remainder of the cruise (Wait staff don't want to offend anyone, so it seems by request only). Celebrity is definitely fluffy-friendly!
I just want to thank you guys, truly, for this report. Although I will not be sailing on this cruise line anytime soon, I so appreciate the information specific to those of us on the fluff side. It is so appreciated and I wish more people would consider this information when they do cruise reviews. You guys are the best!
I love your concept of fluffy friendly reporting. I feel for people with mobility issues and people of size when businesses do not make some effort to accommodate everyone. Roomy chairs or bench seating should be available here and there in all areas. Glad to hear that they didn't scrimp on the shower pod size too. Even people who are not very fluffy like to be able to move easily in a shower without banging their elbow or head.
Cozumel used to be my favorite port. But ever since the downtown Cozumel port opened the walk directing you outside is way too long. There’s nothing you can do to shorten it because the outside gate is at the very end of a two story shopping mall. Unless the next ship I cruise on stops at the old port, I probably won’t get off the ship. It’s a shame because we spent our money on beach excursions which we no longer will. As cruisers age or have difficulty walking these ports will suffer unless they provide some type of transportation. A mile in the heat is beyond what my husband and I are capable of. Thanks for bringing that issue up in today’s video.
Thank you for this video!! I'm a "fluffy" cruiser and it's nice to get info on this subject on different ships. We were on RCI Explorer of the Seas and struggled in the theater seats. Hoping to lose another 25 lbs til our next cruise in late Nov. You guys are great!!
As a fluffy person myself, thank you for the fluffy videos. I love Cozumel but that walk is a killer. I used to walk it but now I have some issues so I do not think i can do it. By the way, its not just the fluffy amongst us who have problems with that walk. I used to see many wheelchairs taking people back to the ship & the people were not fluffy or elderly either. That walk & the heat is something else!
You guys dont miss a thing. Watched your Dollar Tree shopping for a cruise. I laughed so hard with the wipes. All true, but you two presented in a great way. Love your personalities. I am from NY living in Raleigh,NC so I love your style. See you on the Lido (some day).
How do you manage on flights to get to cruises? I'm 5'8 & 72kg (just under 160lb) and I'm mindful of my hips/handbag/bum bumping into people when walking down aisles of planes, even though I'm at the lower end of "fluffy".
I used your buzz words today at Boston’s new Encore Casino...let’s “Test the Fates”. ..video poker....jacks or better, got 4 A’s and quickly departed with my $329.00 win .....yahoooo!
Thank you so much for doing a video like this!!! Have you ever done fluffy excursion reviews? If so I haven't found them yet lol. But my husband and I are for sure fluffy and it is always a concern of our's when booking a excursion.
We just went on a cruise on the Equinox in Jan 2020 and liked the ship. Some of the activities were rather chaotic, however. My wife is a bit "fluffy" and didn't have any problems. Overall, we still prefer Holland America.
As a fluffy cruiser myself, I really appreciate this video! Do you think cruise lines are taking these factors into consideration when building new ships?
We love your videos and have been watching for a while. We've noticed the image with the 2 ships behind you and others vloggers have the same image. Where did you get that?
Hi guys. Thanks for this video. How much weight did you all lose in what time period. I have a 2nd annual group cruise coming up in 70 days. Not only am I embarrassed to see the group because I've gained so much. I'm worried I won't have the stamina to walk like I need to. Ugh!
Both Costa Maya and Cozumel ports had exits that could have been great short cuts to taxis but where locked. Walking the gauntlet of stores made seem longer than necessary. Great ports just wished there was express exit to taxis.
This is why I so enjoy your channel. You go in depth on subjects that are different that the usual vlogger. Being fluffy and on a cruise is a challenge. I do not consider myself fluffy but I sure am not small either. I like to be comfortable like everyone else. From what I've seen on the Celebrity Equinox so far it definitely was designed to be comfortable no matter what "fluffiness level" you are. Thanks for sharing!!
No matter the size of your bum, I think we all like spacious, comfy chairs and don't like to be too close to our neighbour in theatre style seating. I can get claustrophobic in small bathrooms too, So good information.
This is great information. I used to be much bigger than I am now, and the seating on the ships was my biggest problem. In the dining rooms or the buffet, they were usually nice enough to bring me a chair with no arms if I asked for one. My biggest problem on the ships are the seats with rounded backs. I realize they look nice, but I used to make decisions about which ship I might cruise on based on what the seating looked like. Too many rounded chairs and I knew I would have difficulty in most of the lounges.
The bed next to the closet makes no sense. You can barely move. I hate that setup. I now always ask my cruise rep to be sure when booking that my room has the bed next to the balcony door.
Watching the guys with your fluffy cruising help me decide to want to cruise.

Andrea Tuckman I do not like that walk because it forces you to walk through that awful monstrosity
Need express exit and entry for taxis. I am in good shape and that walk in the heat even tough for me especially after all day at Mr Sanchos
I definitely appreciate these reports as I too am fluffy.
Glad to hear Celebrity Cruises is Fluffy Friendly. They’re a great cruise line. Keep cruising 🚢

Great video! Good information to be aware of
Thank you so much for posting this. Accommodation for my size is always something I'm concerned about when traveling.
Learned the meaning of "fluffy" when visited Jamaica on RCCL.
All you videos are very informative...thanks.

Great series of vids. Much appreciated!
Someday you won't be able to even make these fluffy videos. 😁
The half booth with moveable table is called a Banquette
I need to do a scooter video on next cruise. Celebrity Equinox next week. Aft balcony for 3. ♥️Beth
What a great idea this is! Good job.

I just saw this. Thank you so much for this. Size is very personal and I am fluffy too. I have a question, do many fluff's ride the water slides?
Not sure on that. I haven’t ridden a slide on a ship.

BTW Thank you for doing the Equinox tour. :) It helped us find our away around.
Nail on the head. Great fluffy report.

We lost about 30 each before the cruise. - Tony
@@LaLidoLoca how long?
I think in 15 weeks 🤔 they have the videos of their weight loss journey in the channel 😊👍
@@crazyclau20 thanks so much.

Thanks for doing this. I’m a bit fluffy but more tall. Being tall sometimes causes challenges as well.

This is SO helpful!
Did you think about using the spa area shower
I love you both so much
In Cozumel how much would you pay a pedi-cub and would both of you ride in one?
Love this !! We need to know this things...us fluffy people ! haha
Cool video. 😀
I had never heard the term fluffy before I really thought this video was going to go in another direction 😂 but I’m glad it didn’t! #themoreyouknow
How about the Oasis
No matter the size of your bum, I think we all like spacious, comfy chairs and don't like to be too close to our neighbour in theatre style seating. I can get claustrophobic in small bathrooms too, So good information.
I like using fluffy instead of other terms. Are you going to Japan with Don?
Yes!

Jenny is looking 🔥🔥🔥🔥
👍🙏❤️🙏
I have been fluffy and I think one day you will not be making the fluffy videos. You will have to rename it.
