The piece at 8:00 to 12:00 is a work of art. The choice of music could not have been better. Up in Utah one can take dirt bikes up on the mountain tops. I did and it looked very similar - absolutely gorgeous, the top of the world. I don't have a way to hear music on my dirt bike, but I stop now and then and hear music in my mind. I'm adding this to that collection. Thank you very much for sharing.
I was actually willing you up those tough trails😂 oh man this is such a great video, drone work, music, every thing about it was spot on. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!!
I lived and trained out of Colorado for 15 years. Now I’m back in Austria. Your video was very melancholy for me. Amazing production quality. You have quite a talent.
Hey David! Saw that you made content so decided to check out your channel. Great work on the edit! I totally agree about feeling the worst when you start out.. I start rides and think to myself, how the hell did I get so out of shape...takes a while for the legs to kick in. You really did a good job of showcasing this route, it looks awesome, I hope to do it one day... along with the CT 😁! So the question is, do you think you can hack it on the CT someday?
Hey Chris, thank you! I I really underestimated the altitude on this ride and would want to be in better aerobic shape before taking on the CT. They say the CT is the most challenging but also most rewarding bikepacking route and that makes sense to me after doing the Vapor trail.
I would have liked to hear when and where you camped each night, and indicating during the video when you passed notable points such as Tomichi Pass, Old Monach Pass, etc.
A strange question: You find a nice spot to end the day about 4 in the afternoon. You set up camp, have dinner. What do you do in the total darkness for four or five hours? Just sit? Read your tablet?

Usually I read, watch the footage I recorded that day, or lay in bed and think about the trip and trips I want to do in the future. It’s great
