There is a difference in French because these two words mieux and meilleurs come from two different French words.

It is a good video thank you however I have some additions and feedback to make. I am not totally following the method of working out whether the route word is bon or bien not sure how that is assumed in the first place. However if you were to say mieux is an adverb followed by a verb and meilleur(e) is an adjective followed by a noun - doesn't the rule work everytime without fail?

ce n'est pas exact, bien est aussi un adjectif, regardez le dictionnaire Robert et Collins et vous y trouverez de très très nombreuses expressions avec "la mieux": elle est la mieux habillée des deux, par exemple, mieux est un adjectif mais aussi un nom
