Great review Jay! I just got two of the newer versions of the JBL Encore Essential Party Box from Sam’s Club during holiday sale. I had been seeing video clips on the W-King T-11 with software update and I was wondering how they compare. Thanks, Brother. I believe I made the better purchase based on your review here.
You got the Encore, not an updated Encore Essential. They are two different speakers. And yes, the Enocre for under $200 is a really great speaker.

Mine came with two cordless microphones and the white flashing light goes all the way across the top rather than just in the center. It also has a vertical colored light on each side same color as woofer light. And it claims 10 hours of battery life.
Hey man don't you know if there is news of a new version of the JBL Partybox Encore? I see that now it has 2 side leds and brings microphones, I don't know if you know anything about it?
I haven't heard anything. They announced that version of the Encore a while back, but that's all I ever saw.

Hi, I have a question: I currently have a W-King D10 and love it. It's currently priced at $83 thru Amazon with discount. Should I just buy another D10 and pair them? Will this setup be better than just buying one T11? Also in my mind, the battery life of the D10 is longer. So what is better choice for the money? 2 W-King D10s or 1 T11? Thanks!
T11 is louder and has more lower bass output. Two of the D10 will give you a stereo advantage where you can place the two speakers apart from one another. I would just roll with another D10 since you already have one.
@Jay's Straight Up Reviews & More thanks for the advice Jay! Since Amazon has a 30 day return policy-- I just ordered a T11 to try vs the D10. I'm also anticipating deeper bass. I'm also guessing that two T-11s will be even better than two D-10s. The main advantage of two D-10s is battery life/smaller size, and USB-C charging.... Will give you an update once I receive the T-11! Thanks again!
I hate to burst your bubble but the JBL partybox encore essentials speaker, is actually projecting mono sound. The 311 speaker is projecting stereo sound.
My bubble is actually intact, thank you. You would be incorrect, as the Encore Essential is not mono.
I have 3 kimgs , x10, D10 and T11 i want to keep them all but i have to return 1 or 2 .which one you think ?
T11 is best performing, but less portable. You'll have to decide which works best for what you needs.
Is the T11 same price with this JBL encore? T11 is slightly louder and full at the highest volume, but kinda cheap and thin sounding. If both speakers with the same price… I would get the encore for overall sound quality.
T11 price depends on if you are an Amazon Prime member or not. As a member, the T11 is around $190-$200. It's like $40-$50 more if you aren't a member. Either way, still less than the Encore, which is a $300 speaker.😉 I have Amazon links to both in the description.

Great speaker for sound and bass. Just wish the battery would have lasted a little longer.
I assume you are referring to the Encore Essential. I will say the T11 battery also isn't so great at high volume levels.

Both are good, but if you can get the Encore Essential for under $200 it's tough to beat.
the partybox isn't clear it's just sharper, since it has absolutely no midrange
I wouldn't say it has absolutely no midrange, but it does have the wildly popular v-shape sound signature. 😆

The T11 will get a little louder, but not as full sounding. I will say if you run both of these at 90%-100% vol. they will both only last 5 or 6 hours.
