If my shoulders are 39 inches and my hips are 36.5, does this make me an inverted triangle? My waist is also not small even though I'm at the low end of the weight I should be and have no gut. It's 28.5. And I have very small breasts.
This is my body type, but I am not top-heavy at all! I've got smallish breasts, a tummy and a bum! And to top it off, I'm short... amazing! I wish I could pull off Victoria Beckham vibes, but I'm so far from her in every sense of the word. She has SUCH an incredible style. What do us short, curvy, inverted V-shapes do for some style?
I'm also short (5'3") and without my shoulder measurements, I'm a pear. But with shoulders - inverted triangle. So yeah, the struggle is real. I'm finding I look best in my pickleball get-ups. LOL.

I have a 'athletic shape'. I actually like my body the way it is, I don't hide, and don't even mind emphasizing my shoulders. Jackets look great, as do capes, coats and cardi draped around the shoulders. Even with a high round, boat, slashed neck, if the silhouette comes in tight under the arms, it's statuesque in a different way (I don't have much bust). Who needs shoulder pads? ;-)
TY for this video, im not that heavy, always thiught im apple shape, big on top, narrow hips, flat in back, i guess I'm considered Inverted, i couldnt understand, what was the last word you said, when describing inverted shape, anyway, I do look better i. Boot cut jeans & strait, but if i wear, wide leg jeans, the new trend, they look horrible, due to flat butt, ugh.
