But I’ll never forget Billy coming down this way and racing at the airport over at the Prison on rt3, think that’s the night Chris went to jail lmbo Been following you guys for a while even when I was living in Columbus a few years back, y’all were the car well truck to beat. Thanks for the great info and I really apprectiated you talking about not sheltering your kids but instead getting involved or letting things happen at home. I would love to see a video explaining the "bad" parts of working with tracks so that other people know what to expect when trying to organize events in their local tracks or whatever.

What's really cool is hearing how your little side project with your son turned out to help lift up so many others, and yet the true humility on the part of the storyteller is not only refreshing, but inspiring... Another great story guys. The video that u explained where billy was kind of a problem child and needed a focus has inspired me tremendously. I have been trying to get in to the race scene here in ohio witth my extremely sttrong willed son. Lol. He loves to watch u guys and loves racing in general. We have a frrrrrrriend with a ls twin turbo s10 we r trying to get on the street now so immmmm gonna let him help a little here and there. Also trying to find a car to start building for him. i got a taste of the OH street car scene last month at Edgewater for Cincy Street Nights. I made the trip from MD, by myself, and met up with a couple other buddies once there. The OH street car scene is alive and vibrant! i wish there were similar races here in MD. The closest thing we have is filled with incredibly fast "street" cars, that couldn't drive to the corner store and back. Thanks for your efforts. it's paying off!
I love drag racing, real drag racing, been into it since I was a kid in the 1960s. Bracket racing sux, it's not real. I watched some video recently of bracket and I could tell the guy backed off not to breakout, that is not real drag racing. real drag racing is bring what ya got and nail it, best man and car wins. That's why I like watching y'all race, bring what ya got and run it hard best man & car wins.
Truth be known Big Daddy,, I'm betting 70 to 80 percent of the bracket racers agree 100% wi ya. They run brackets 'cause until more strips get on board with THIS, the 'No Prep' racing venues,, if they [the bracket racers] wanna run it's brackets, street or nuth'n. I too am a boomer [born '47], used to race the streets of Portland, Ore '65 thru '71. Downtown Portland track was 6th & Broadway doing what we called 'lite to lite' racing OR we'de head to the SE part of Portland and run 82nd, 122nd, 181st or even out tpo Sandy cause those streets were 4 lane and straight as a string as far as you could see with lights far, far apart. Indeed, Portland's finest knew where we played and would cruise or hide and watch every chance they had - BUT - they still had to fight other crime, they couldn't be everywhere all the time and generally we could get away with a couple light to light runs before turning off and disappearing to another spot. We knew those streets as well as did the City so finding an escape route wasn't overly hard. Yes,, some were caught and the penaltys were STIFF,, but NOTHING like they are today. Today if you get caught you may as well hand your soul to GOD cause the DMV OWN'S YOUR TAIL FOR DECADES, then when they're finally done with ya the insurance companys step in and finish ya off. Street racing is risky and dangerous,, we all know this but learning of Bill and Billy's efforts trying to take racing off the streets to a track gives hope there are others throughout the land doing similar efforts and perhaps one day the competative thrills of QUICK SPEED for short durations can happen for just about anyone, anywhere, on a track and not on the street. Thank YOU Bill, Billy and all those others who have opened venues where heads up racing can happen as safely as possible with no fear of breaking our laws.
For the comments that will be saying "you have your AFR valve cover on upside down"... you WANT the breathers at the front on a boosted application. It's as simple as that. Since it's a SBC you can flip the cover over to put the breather hole where you want it.

This series is amazing! Seems like almost everything y’all put your time and efforts into turns out to be successful. You can clearly see that what y’all do is passion driven. When something is driven by passion it usually only works when there’s a void and demand for it, also when efforts come from the heart you gain the interest of others that share the same love for the sport as you do, your able to create opportunities that help you market it in a way to fulfill needs that allow you & them to live that lifestyle while creating something great. Bill ..just incase you dont know but i seen a add on fb for my local track "Knoxville Dragway " if i remember correct on Oct 24 they are having a no prep street race and its kind of a big deal ..what they do is start at the end of the shut down area and race back tward the starting line . That way they will be starting out on virgin road .. and last year it was a flashlight start .. look em up and if you can make it let us know and ill be there to watch yall take home some money ... btw this story is Awesome .. its really got me geared up to get my mustang done but between working 9 hours plus a day and working on customers cars at home afterwards i aient got much time left over ..maybe this winter ill build my transmission and get this thing rolling .. be safe out there brother .

I just wanted to make a comment about the bracket racers. Being safe is not a bad thing. Bracket racing is what got me off the streets in the 80’s. Sure is not for everyone I understand but not everyone can do heads up financially. But make no mistake this old bracket racer believes in being safe to race another day. I enjoy what you guys are doing it reminds me a lot of myself, my brother, and my dad doing our thing in bracket racing back in the day.
US 41 Dragstrip in Morocco Indiana would host no prep racing for you guys I’m sure. They already do that type of racing, and also host “street racing events” raced on the track. US 41 is under new management and 2021 has been one of the best years to date. Many track updates and remodeling, also re-prepping the track. I’ve worked there for the last couple of years. Let me know if you’re interested in setting something up for 2022.

We bought a 100 acres in Nevada I plan on putting a drag strip on the property if nothing else it will be awesome to have for testing

How come? I'm not familiar with boosted engines and the setups

This series is amazing! Seems like almost everything y’all put your time and efforts into turns out to be successful. You can clearly see that what y’all do is passion driven. When something is driven by passion it usually only works when there’s a void and demand for it, also when efforts come from the heart you gain the interest of others that share the same love for the sport as you do, your able to create opportunities that help you market it in a way to fulfill needs that allow you & them to live that lifestyle while creating something great. Your obviously good at it and have fun at the same time. Keep up the good work.

Bill ..just incase you dont know but i seen a add on fb for my local track "Knoxville Dragway " if i remember correct on Oct 24 they are having a no prep street race and its kind of a big deal ..what they do is start at the end of the shut down area and race back tward the starting line . That way they will be starting out on virgin road .. and last year it was a flashlight start .. look em up and if you can make it let us know and ill be there to watch yall take home some money ... btw this story is Awesome .. its really got me geared up to get my mustang done but between working 9 hours plus a day and working on customers cars at home afterwards i aient got much time left over ..maybe this winter ill build my transmission and get this thing rolling .. be safe out there brother .
With all the stories you have with your kind ds and the trucks (and molly with the ford's) you could start a podcast telling these stories and it would do great. You can tell by all the likes and comments on these last 3 story telling videos. Either way YOU'RE DOING GREAT GUYS.

I just wanted to make a comment about the bracket racers. Being safe is not a bad thing. Bracket racing is what got me off the streets in the 80’s. Sure is not for everyone I understand but not everyone can do heads up financially. But make no mistake this old bracket racer believes in being safe to race another day. I enjoy what you guys are doing it reminds me a lot of myself, my brother, and my dad doing our thing in bracket racing back in the day.

US 41 Dragstrip in Morocco Indiana would host no prep racing for you guys I’m sure. They already do that type of racing, and also host “street racing events” raced on the track. US 41 is under new management and 2021 has been one of the best years to date. Many track updates and remodeling, also re-prepping the track. I’ve worked there for the last couple of years. Let me know if you’re interested in setting something up for 2022.
