If ya need a pick-up truck, we got one just for you!! Ya need a Ford F-150? We got one of those too! So come on down to Bob's Waterlogged Auto. We're located right on the Tualatin River.

Good looking Comanche J-12 Jason. Vehicle recovery is harder then folks realize, there is a science to it. Jason did good to get the truck as far as he did without the extra equipment needed and more weight in his truck. Kudos Jason, that looked like a blast. I’ve worked with recovery dive teams in a “past life”, when ya’ll mentioned about how weird it would be finding a body in another Mazda unexpectedly, it brought to mind some past experiences. Looking for bodies on a recovery dive team is a tough gig mentally, you have to really have your mind right because it is so vastly different then recovery on land. But to find a body underwater unexpectedly, especially for divers who don’t specialize in underwater cadaver recovery, is enough to make some never dive again. You guys do a great job. If I’m ever in your neck of the woods I’ll stop by and treat ya’ll to lunch and the beverage of your choice.

I really love your channel. I appreciate what you and your team are doing for our environment. I live in Salem and really want to stumble onto you pulling a vehicle out of the water - bucket list. I am flabbergasted at how many vehicles there are! This is why i don't jump off rope swings or cliffs anymore, I don't need an antenna where it doesn't belong!!! The gentleman that helped in the beginning of the video has an amazing truck, gorgeous!!
The Tualatin City park used to be right there and we'd go there every summer for the crawfish festival. Lotsa of beer, crawfish, snacks and such, plus a large playground for the kids. Great fun. I even played rhythm guitar in a band one year when the regular guy couldn't make it. They said I sounded pretty good -- til all the free beers took their toll. Late 60's or so. After I came home from Nam.
I grew up in Tualatin as well and have had many adventures along that river and the park. I remember walking over the railroad trestle more times than I can count, especially when there was the flood in ‘74 as well as in ‘96. We lived over by the Country Club so the only way to get into town then was to walk across the trestle. I never even thought about there being any vehicles in the river and wonder if any of them floated into it with the floods.

After the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis went down August 1, 2007, recovery efforts revealed that a number of cars found in the Mississippi River had nothing to do with the bridge collapse. It seems your situation is not unique. Well done, gentlemen.

Btw, that Chevy LUV I'd like to see get pressure washed, and then if it were me, I would save the tailgate off of it, and clean it up and hang it on the wall or set it along side your fence Jared. It would look really cool. I had a '65 GMC Tailgate that I actually repurposed into a park bench. It was pretty neat. But would definitely like to see a pressure washing on it and would be great to save that tailgate. That truck actually isn't all that rusted out, the bed is actually way nicer than some I've seen that have been on dry land for 30 years, lol.

Yall would love diving the twin rivers down in Suwannee county Florida, as often as it floods & as high as the waters get, youll see that some cars actually manage to get into some of the caves.. One in particular is a OBS Chevy pickup thats been 50ft below surface for about 8 years now in a cave with crystal clear water
i had a barney purple one but it had a SBC in it and 44's on it and i loved it. but it also went swimming one time to many and ended up pulling it in half trying to pull it out of the creek. but i won the bet it made it across it. just didn't make it back. LOL
Another great show and, it was educational because my Daddy used to work for GM / Chevrolet and I never knew about the Isuzu angle. Wow. Thank you for sharing 🌞🌞🌞
How about never pulling while not on the brakes of the vehicle, or while it's in park. The transmission will not last long if he keeps doing things like that.

My dad rescued me from a flooded neighborhood in his Chevy LUV in 1979. Carried me through the water to the parking spot he found on high ground!

I had a lifted luv back in the early 90’s it had an Isuzu engine because it was built with the Isuzu pup and got Chevy badging.
